Best fish sandwich in Nashville, period. Been coming here for decades. CASH ONLY and DRIVE THRU ONLY since covid I think so can’t fault them too much for atmosphere. Be prepared to wait for a while, this place is popular because it’s so damn good.

Locals may know this, but this visitor did not. Ed’s Fish & Pizza House does not sell pizza . It’s all good because I went for the fish! I love some fried fish. Everyone has their preference, so give it a try for yourself. I was not a fan of the batter. I did enjoy the fries, the option of spaghetti as a side, and the strawberry lemonade. The gentleman who took our order in the line was the highlight. Very personable and funny.

Ed’s is a super old school place, has been here before Nashville was a thing. Super personable staff, family run. It just feels good being here even before you get to eat. The whiting was fresh, clean fry oil, bread soft. Spot on. 10/10 will be back.
