Our team worked hard to transform the old Cartledge’s building at 35 Union Street into a casual bistro and bakery, which offers breakfast, lunch, delicious baked goods and more! Our menu features fresh items such as salads, sandwiches, burgers, soups and many gluten free options. We will have some vegan options as well. We have a full coffee barista service featuring Esselon Coffee and we offer beer, wine and mixed cocktails. We look forward to being a destination for residents and guests in our community.

The food is always delicious. Never a complaint there. The food has gotten much more expensive in the past year- a salad up 4.50 cents. And then if you use a card there is a fee which who doesn’t these days. The wait times for food to go are always long. Overall, I love the food so I will keep coming back. However, due to the cost and inconvenience of time, I won’t be back as often. Meals are usually in the 15-20 range and if you get a delicious cupcake or cake on display, you’re paying almost $50 for lunch’s

Good food, but the wait times are unrealistic. An hour wait to order lunch at 12:10 on a Thursday. Not equip to handle large volume. Forced to choose other options with over hour long wait times.

Union Street has a great selection of sandwiches, but I chose the Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer and a bowl of corn chowder (the daily special). The shrimp were large and flavorful and could easily work as an entrée for a single diner. The corn chowder was creamy, just the right amount of sweet, and had nice chunks of potatoes. As I was leaving, I decided to get a raspberry vanilla cupcake, too.
