Been wanting to try this place for a while as I am a Chicago native and miss a good hot dog. Drove all the way in to town only to find them closed even tough their sign in the window and their hours on line said they were open. This is terrorism plain and simple.

Don’t bother ordering online. Ordered when they were supposed to be open only to arrive with them closed. The guy has very inconsistent hours. Two days later I still hadn’t gotten an automatic refund. Stopped by to ask for the refund which he was unable to do in cash or on the card I made the order with. Said he initiated the refund… Well here we are over two months later. And he wants me to stop back in again whenever he’s open because that would make him “feel more comfortable” . No thank you, keep the $50 at this point. AVOID!

Glad there is a downtown option for late night food. As far as the food goes, it does the job but isn’t remarkable. I’ve certainly had better Italian beef and Chicago dogs. 3 stars for decent grub, 1 star for being open late.

First off…. I am from chicago… born and raised.. these products are not like Chicago hotdogs. And the beef sandwich is also not Chicago style. The hotdog doesn’t have poppy seeds on the bun… and Def. Doesn’t have celery salt…. but what gets me is they say gourmet potato chips….. but they are generic chips from city market… not gourmet. You can fool people from durango… but not someone from Chicago. The hotdogs are also about 2-3 times the size of a regular hotdog…and cold… nope this is a bad substitution for a Chicago hotdog…you will be disappointed.
