Typical tavern pub. Got take out. Minus 1 star because the fries were really bad. Soggy/squishy. The Sweet & Spicy Nashville chicken with creamy coleslaw was fantastic – and the Cuban egg rolls tasted just like a Cuban sandwhich, but egg roll style – really good

Great local spot. Good quality food. Pleasant service. I’ve gone here a “few” times and have tried different things on the menu. The French Toast is a best seller for me. The Cinnamon swirl pancakes, delicious. The Beet/Arugula Salad is pretty good as well. Home fries were good, french fries are fine. Vegan burger good, enjoyed it. Chicken sandwich was said to be really good, by the chicken connoisseurs in my party.

I went on a Thursday evening and there was live music. The food was outstanding and so was the service. This is my daughter’s favorite place in Lower Mills for great food and reasonable prices which is a huge compliment as the neighborhood has many fantastic places to eat and offers several types of cuisines. Love that the huge widows are open when the weather permits.

Nice bar and restaurant in lower mills in Dorchester only got oysters and drinks but the oysters were fresh and my drink was good. We found out after we ordered that they do $1 oysters on Mondays and I will have to go back for that. Parking can be tough in the area but there’s not much you can do about that, still found a spot relatively easily. Also thought the staff was very friendly and helpful

Our waitress Steph was awesome! The drinks (autumn bounty and espresso martini) were incredible. The vibes were great, the service was awesome, we will be back for sure.

Went for lunch and sat at the bar. The bar was less than half full. The bar itself was not very clean, spielen food not wiped off. The bartender was very friendly and helpul with suggestion. However she got chatting with some guests and forgot to put in our appetizer order. Waited over 20 minutes in an almost empty restaurant for our order. Food was delicious: Cuban egg rolls, Nashville Chiken Sandwich and Short Rib Grilled Cheese. The Truffle fries were not good…lacked flavor. Beer and wine were served nice and cold.

Absolutely great food and staff . They really added lots of good things to their menu . My only issue and this is totally a personal thing was the type and volume of the music . Not quite dinner music and people had to raise their voices to be heard making the restaurant louder than it had to be . Will definitely return with maybe some ear plugs. Definitely worth the trade off to eat here.

Great place. Beautiful decoration. Not too big but it’s ok for lunch and dinner. Menu is easy to read and clear. Food are really good. Pizza is home made so my daughter enjoyed fully. Burger fine. Well done was ok. Staff ok. Maybe needs to improve their courtesy. To sumarize I really recommend this place to enjoy a delicious food

We’ve ordered a ton of take out from Lower Mils Tavern over the last year and the food is just as good as if I’m there, sitting at one of their large open windows tables. Chef Cara Nance takes such pride in changing up the menu often, leaving you excited about trying something new (like this photo, it was some sort of plum pudding made fresh!). I highly recommend the new truffled artichoke dip, Chicken Sandwich (trust me it’s perfectly crispy) or stop in for an amazing brunch! I suggest following them on Instagram to see all of their mouth watering photos, as well as keeping up to date on their live music schedule.

Literally the worst pizza I’ve ever had. Zero taste, under cooked, and it just looks sad. The two missing slices in the pic are ones I had to put in the toaster oven to cook
