I love this place. It’s a great combo of healthy and delicious. Different than any restaurant in the Hamptons. They say 1 person could eat one by themselves but honestly they are big. I’d say 1 person could eat 3/4. I guess 1 but you’d have to be very hungry

Such a great meal. The dosas are huge! Super filling. We ordered a bunch of different dishes and loved all of them. Highly recommend and will be back! It feels like a breakfast/lunch place, but you can definitely get a great dinner here as well.

We mostly do take out from here. On a crowded day it gets small in there quick. The food is so delicious. We love the coconut chicken and the assorted vegetables they have. Mixed all together its some of the best food around.

We stopped here on the way to Montauk and I am obsessed with this place! The recipes are great…delicious flavor combinations. The dosas are soooo filling! We went back two separate days for lunch. I absolutely recommend. I wish you would open up stores in Nassau so I could still enjoy! The cardamom coffee was so good. While it may not have that “zing” you get at other Indian restaurants, I actually think the more mild flavor combinations are extremely satisfying and easy on my stomach. There is nothing wrong with something different, especially when it is really delicious!

I have been coming to Hampton Chutney for 20 years and find the food delicious and the family who owns it is wonderful. The dosas are crispy and incredible, the #5 is my go to, the chutneys are full of amazing flavors and the orange ginger iced tea is a must! Run, don’t walk if you find yourself in the town of East Hampton.

Foods tasty .. more like fusion food with Indian theme .. Thali just had a rice and garbanzo beans with a chutney .. orange ginger tea was without orange and ginger and when asked was told that it’s how it’s made .. weird

The owner claims it to be an authentic Indian restaurant, however there was nothing authentic about it. We ordered classic masala dosa, classic uttapam, and veg thali. Everything was over loaded with potatoes and tasted pretty much the same. The soups and chutneys were very sweet. The owners were not receptive of the feedback and kept claiming they knew Indian food pretty well, while they did not. You will find similar feedback from other 1-2 star google reviews.
