The restaurant got my attention with their Vegan Wednesdays board that I could see from the street (it was Wednesday). I didn’t order the special, as the menu was full of other delicious vegan options. I went with the Shepherds Pie, since I love walnut meat. It didn’t disappoint. The vegan chili was delicious too. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for delicious vegan food options in Port Townsend.

I highly recommend this place – many many vegan and gluten free options. I ordered the meal of the day and it was tofu tikka masala with pita bread. It was delicious! My sister got a vegan crab sandwich and she couldn’t stop saying how good it was. The staff is incredibly nice and welcoming.

Honestly it wasn’t that great. I had the mushroom stroganoff and that wasn’t that great. It’s a really loud restaurant, but I guess good for kids. Their farmers market soup is really good though! It’s just really expensive, especially with the service. It cost us 68$ for the soup and two meals, and I wasn’t even very full at the end of it. My husband ordered a burger but it also came with no sides, and they have no fries. My sister had the pizza and that was pretty good. Mac and cheese was good though.

We had lunch here on a Friday afternoon after a concert at Fort Warden. We found an open table and ordered our food at the counter. The system they use here functions well and our wait time was reasonable. All of the staff were very professional. My apple salad with bacon was huge and delicious. Wife order bangers and mash and was disappointed that it was served in a baking crust wrap. She had no way of knowing this before ordering was was quite bummed. I tried it and it was ok but a bit bland. I suggest they make this clear unless we missed something when ordering.

I love this place. It’s very hearty so I don’t go here that often but when I do it always hits the spot. Full of flavor and variety. I’m not vegan but have ordered their vegan options because they’re very good and not at all a menu after thought. It’s easy to call in an order and I’ve never had to wait long.

First time trying Tommyknocker’s. It’s an order at the counter place with a nice busy vibe. Food was really good. We had the pulled pork sliders, the bacon mac n cheese and a hot swing stuffed potato. Everything was hot and delicious. We’ll definitely be back.

Great quality food. Very well made. Crust on the pasty was really nice. Some of the flavor combos were just a bit off. Pulled pork mac and cheese was unbalanced, too much bbq, no cheese flavor. Flatbread pizza was interesting combo I did not care for.

What a wonderful place! The cute atmosphere and friendly service are great! The only thing better is the food. You can’t go wrong with their pasties, mac and cheese or baked potatoes. They had many gluten free and vegan options that were scrumptious. The pulled pork sliders were also great. Next time I want to try the scotch egg. They have a big fan!
