I moved to Tennessee from the NW suburbs of Illinois. I have really missed eating at my favorite Egyptian, Turkish, Arabic, Indian restaurants! I was shopping in this plaza a couple of weeks ago and saw Yassin Falafel House as I was leaving. This afternoon we decided to stop in and try the food. I’m so glad we did! Everything was amazing. I ordered the falafel sampler plate. Salad, falafel, hummus, baba ghanoush. I ordered extra pita bread and feta. The second meal was the gyro plate over rice. The hummus was melt in your mouth fresh and delicious. My Falafel was light and flavorful on the inside with a delicate crisp outside. Pita bread tasted fresh and homemade. Gyro is a combo of lamb/beef. Rice was cooked perfectly. Tzatziki was also fresh. I was missing Chicago tonight and this restaurant was like getting a hug! We will definitely be back. Tahini and hot sauce were also amazing! Great customer service. Our food was hot, fresh and done in 7 minutes. I highly recommend this location.

Visiting the area and decided to stop for a quick bite on a Saturday afternoon….what a great little joint! Decided on a gyro plate which was more than enough to share – and an order of falafels!!! I can honestly say, I’ve never enjoyed a falafel before that day but I can definitely tell you it won’t be my last! The flavors were so good, the staff were welcoming and explained everything to us before ordering – and the prices were very reasonable!!! Can’t wait to visit again!

We were out on an adventure and decided to eat at this restaurant. We were greeted by a friendly,nice gentleman who took our order. We sat down at a table, and our food was ready in no time at all. Really quick. The food was excellent. It was very tasty. Employees came out and asked us how we were and how the food was? Great service. Sincere in wanting to take care of the guest. Excellent place.

The definition of “expensive but worth it”. The flavors are great. The staff is super nice and friendly. The price is…high. Sometimes it’s nice to try something new and support a local business, though. The message of acceptance is of course welcome, as well.

Just tried the Chicken Shawarma combo and here’s my assessment: chicken and rice are flavorful but somewhat oily, share is generous and plenty for one meal. It’s comes w a large pita bread though. The price of the combo is not cheap but still reasonable. I would still recommend.

Went in last night to get a couple of Gyros for dinner. The new store is really nice and the staff is incredibly friendly. I got two gyros and they were ready very quickly. I’ve ate at there other location in Knoxville and this one is comparable. The pita was soft and cooked very well. The gyros meat is so good and flavorful. To me the sauce is powerful so I get it on the side. The food is a little expensive but the quality is there. It’s nice to have some ethnic food choices in Alcoa and Yassin’s fits the bill. I will go back for falafel and chicken shawarma. Step outside your comfort zone and give them a try. I highly recommend Yassin’s Falafel House.

We got the falafel plate and the kids meal with chicken. The lady taking our order was friendly, we got there right when they opened, and it took about 15-20 minutes for the food to come out. My food was delicious! Highly recommend!

Still sitting here while typing this…. Mr and my wife LOVE YASSIN’S….. Friendly loving people, for the amount of food you get the quality and freshness the price is reasonable. I pray that these folks stay forever also we share alot of the same core values just read the employees shirts!!!!
