The restaurant decor was nice. The host was sweet and friendly. We got seated right away out on the patio. The scenery was amazing. We saw dolphins playing as we ate. Our server was friendly, quick, and went over the specials. The sad part in all of this experience was the food. There was no flavor at all to the coleslaw…they are in need of a new recipe for that. They should try some horseradish and vinegar in it. The Fish was okay. The grits were cold as well as the fries. I do have to say, the shrimp was very good. I was not a fan of their Hush Puppies either. We couldn’t use the salt because the humidity had it stuck to the inside of the shaker. Also, they need to get Heinz Ketchup…it makes a major difference. It was very pricey for less than mediocre food. I wish it would have been better because we loved the atmosphere.

Incredible food and excellent service, Ms. Cory assisting me via telephone and the waitress , forgot her name, but great customer service, zero complaints, and she made my family very happy when she brought the desert to my wife which was celebrating her birthday. We attended August 5, 2023, around 1900hrs. Very nice restaurant and view to the river. It was perfect for my family. Appetizers very good and go for the gray platter combination and Shirley temple drinks for the kids for sure….. Gracias

We didn’t have reservations, but were seated immediately, with a glorious view of the river. All of the staff was pleasant, well informed and efficient; but we were never rushed. The cocktails and appetizer were slam dunks. Then came a glorious crispy whole flounder, nicely fried shrimp and oysters, and tasty sides. The food and atmosphere triggered a flood of childhood memories for my wife, whose advanced dementia means memories are especially precious. The awesome service and perfectly prepared food offered a rare chance for relaxation and laughter, including the declaration that the flounder was even better than her dad’s. The best thing is that everyone there was receiving the same astonishing quality of experience.

First time dining here. Took off one star cause it took long to seat us even with a reservation. Our server was a bit overwhelmed and we waited to be greeted once seated, and had to ask for refills even though she passed our table many times throughout our meal. We ordered the okra fries, seafood dip which was okay. The fried seafood platter and shrimp tacos were good. The BEST was the chocolate cream pie dessert. Will try again and order the other menu items.

Absolutely delicious. I had shrimp and grits for my entree, boyfriend had seared scallops for his. Honestly the best thing either of us have ever eaten. The shotgun shrimp appetizer was great, as was the seafood dip!

Not impressed. We found out about the specials from our waitress when we were paying the bill as she explained them to the table across from us. She forgot our appetizer. Everything was salty and over cooked. The black eyed peas tasted like they came right out of a can. For the price? Not worth it.
