Absolutely a MUST stop & eating place!!!! We were driving through in our way to Florida & found this place by accident & VERY glad we did. The young lady who helped us decide what to order was friendly & personal (love the home town welcome). The young man, Cody, who brought our food to us was just as friendly & welcoming. Come to find out, you can order & have some meats FedEx to you as well. Which we plan on doing with some of the delicious gator sausage. It had very good flavor/spices. My daughter & I ordered the cream cheese filled jalapeño burger with pepper jack cheese. yummmmm. You will be full & very happy that you stopped by. BTW the pic is of the gator poboy after my husband had already ate half of the meat.

Service and Food was very tasty. Stuffed Pepper Jack Boudin balls was good. Me being a person that loves to add grilled onions and barbecue sauce to my burger really enjoyed the service that was given to make sure it tasted just right. Thanks . Must come back.

I used to frequent Bergeron’s years ago at the Mandeville location. The boudin was so good and flavorful back then. Since I no longer live in the area, I was excited to grab some boudin as I was passing through recently. The first thing I noticed was that the Covington location was much bigger and more inviting. The boudin did not look like I remembered but I hoped that maybe it would taste better. The lady that checked me out was extremely helpful, so 5 stars for customer service. I purchased 6 links and the price was fairly reasonable. The boudin had quite a bit of spice and kick to it, but no actual flavor. I think others would probably enjoy it but it’s not for me.

Stopped here on our way through Covington because the one by Lafayette was delicious. This time I got the bbq beef sandwich and as a Texan I tell you the truth, these people must put their foot in the BBQ sauce because that was the best damn bbq sandwich I ever had! And the cheesy Boudain balls… Ahhh.. so good!! Best place for road food for sure!!
