Open atmosphere and lots of windows for viewing the roads that lead to this family restaurant. Established in 2000, and having survived the 2018 Camp Fire, so did all the historic Gold mining pictures on all the walls. There’s even a room in the back for meetings and private parties.

The Cozy Diner in Paradise did not impress our semi large group. Service was good, and overall did not match its same name in Chico, CA. Still it provided breakfast at close to 2 PM, which is always good to have available. 3 Stars.

Cozy Diner Bar and Grill in Paradise, CA is a hidden gem that offers delicious food, a cozy atmosphere, and excellent service. As soon as you walk in the door, you are greeted with a warm smile and a friendly welcome. I got a seat today’s because of the gracious bus lady.. The 3 waitresses were chatting behind the register, not even glancing my direction for at least 5 minutes. They were so deep in conversation they didn’t hear the bus lady try to get their attention.

Would give a no star rating if possible!! Ordered the chicken fried steak skillet, it came out caked in cheese, a disturbing amount. When I told the waitress there was too much cheese, to the point the only thing I could see was cheese and gravy, she took my food back to the kitchen and did nothing about it. Not even as much as come back to my table!! And I was even still charged full price for a $14 plate I took 2 bites out of!!! Not right!!! Will not be returning to this location!

Changed to 3 stars because last order experience was horrible and food tasted bad. Ranch was rancid and tasted expired. My condiments were not with my meal and my hubbie had to go back to get the rest of my meal. Cooked potatoe was a dark brown when opened. Spoiled potatoe was served. Disappointed

It is a really cute and spacious restaurant and the staff have always been great. The food is awesome and it is one of the few places still left in Paradise. Worth the visit.
