In the past, I’ve always ordered sandwiches such as the Rachel, sliced smoked turkey with sauerkraut, cheese and thousand island dressing on marbled toasted rye. I’m not fond of all of the sliced chicken being smoked. Also, the QUALITY of the sliced for sandwiches turkey is not near what it was years ago. The sauerkraut is skimpy at beast and barely any dressing. So no more Rachel’s for me. BUT::::

Got the chicken salad on croissant, would’ve tasted great, but there were 4 big chunks of chicken gristle in the salad. Made me want to gag and not eat anymore of it. Also, yes, the baked potatoes are huge, but the one we got wasn’t even tender all the way through. Not impressed with my first experience at McAlister’s.
