The Zapata Dairy Queen served me with an excellent double meet cheeseburger with fries and a home brewed sweet tea. I loved the dining experience cause their dining room was open.

The food was average for Dairy Queen, but the service speed was unacceptable. We ordered 2 burgers, an order of fries and an order of onion rings. The order took 15 minutes. In addition two customers came in and ordered after us and received their food ahead of us. One of those customers ordered the same thing as us, only half the quantity. When asked about this I was told they run short of hamburger patties. It’s one thing to be inept and another to lie.

Service is slow and unacceptable at drive thru i waited 5 minutes and was still not attended so i drove up to the window. Wile i waited at the window it took another 4 minutes to get attended. Finally the window receptionist took my order of 2 double meats w/ cheese and onion rings 1 chicken basket and 1 triple meat w/ cheese. About five minutes later i receive my drink. All the mean while i see my order come out and a young woman starts taking orders through the mic. So i imagine that the cook yells out (ORDER OUT) like we use to when i worked at DQ in Zapata. The point is that it took about 30 minutes to get my order and when i finally got it it was sloppy!!!!

Good food bad drive thru service, the young lady wasn’t polite at all, I asked for salt and pepper, then asked for extra ketchup and she suddenly changed her attitude towards me, I guess she has been working long hours.This happened Easter Sunday in Zapata TX at 5:30 pm
