I rated this as “okay.” I didn’t think it was bad in any sense. I wasn’t wow’d though either. We ordered calamari a couple of rolls and one bar made drink. Though pretty the calamari was too rubbery. The rolls were yummy but incredibly small. The drink was heavy on the soda and the service was alright. They attempted to work as a team but they didn’t seem very happy to be there and some things had to be asked a few times. I again think it was okay.

Most roll cost about 14 dollars and nigiri are 7 for 2 pieces. This is a decent sushi place for those who are craving. However, their service is not the greatest.

Very good for the price Mark was the only one that was actually working (waiter wise) and he was doing everything, the female waitress filled water once that we saw the entirety we were there. Sushi was filling and when they say it’s spicy they aren’t lying husband got the diablo (according to my husband it caused his nose to drain). I had the fancy roll and I liked the texture as well as the flavor. We also had calamari which was better than the last place, but was a little too battered and was greasy because of it/ took away from the calamari flavor. Calamari was chewy( not supposed to be as it was served hot).

The best sushi in Spokane Valley! I love that they offer cucumber wrapped rolls (no rice!) so I can still get my sushi fix on a diet. Service can be hit and miss, so I always try to go Tuesday-Friday. Take out is really the way to go. I don’t try this place on a Saturday, unless I show up around opening, 4:30, because they get slammed pretty quick. Sushi chef is always very kind, thanking me for ordering when I do. So glad to have this place so close!

The food was good. Visited on a Saturday night, which was especially busy. Three sushi chefs under extreme pressure by the manager to get the food out, producing rolls that were loose and falling apart, much more difficult to eat with chopsticks, but good. Sushi chefs, and waitresses kept their cool, the manager, not so much.

Some of the best sushi around. They now have a consistently great waiter! Good job!! We are so happy and no longer embarrassed to take people here because of service staff. You’ll be seeing us much more again. Thank you!

This is a pretty good sushi spot; arguably the only one in eastern Spokane Valley. Food is good quality, and though it can be a bit pricey, averaging $8.00 – $14-$15.00, you get 6-8 rolls depending on the dish, and that seems to be typical for what you’d pay at other spots. Where points get lost is the service. Everyone does their best, and most do it calmly, but there seems to be a lot of chaos behind-the-scenes; lots of running around, questions, and general frantic energy. I’ve heard wait staff sigh and mutter, “Hooray,” when preparing a table for a larger group, which is a bit disappointing to hear as a patron. I suspect like most places these days, this place suffers from being short-staffed, and likely the staff that remain are underpaid. However, this is one of those spots where you can *feel* the staffing issues, which is why I prefer to order to-go. This also guarantees that people get my order right; I’ve had a couple errors before but staff were happy to amend the issues. Altogether – a good place to get good food to-go, not so much a good place to enjoy food at.

bunny roll, spider roll, and shrimp/veggie tempura were decent. hamachi kama is p good. bunny roll would’ve been better if there wasn’t spicy mayo on top and salmon was more seared. did not like the salad that came with the hamachi kama (edit: they have since fixed the salad’s dressing, its good now)

We’ve been trying to make it to dinner here for weeks however due to hours and travel it’s been difficult. Finally able to do a date night with the hubby and he loves this place. It was Friday night, around 6pm and while there were several tables open, the restaurant itself was very short staffed. It took over 20 minutes to get our drink order and utensils. The food was good, however the service would make me choose another option.
