Twice we’ve eaten there and the fries was like they’ve been cooked about 3 times. Hush puppies was cold. Fish was warm but was like reheated so I broke them into a bunch of pieces so they would bring me a fresh plate of fish when those came out they was hot and fresh much better. Used to be better food there

Food was just okay, figured the service would have been better since they were not very busy, and there were roaches in the dining room and plenty of dead ones in the bathroom. I understand it’s a fish camp in the woods but you still have to follow health inspector guidelines even as a fish camp. I’m a visitor from out of town and the company that brought me there was embarrassed because they said that it’s not normally like this.

Meah. I saw all kinds of stellar reviews for this place, but I didn’t think the food or dining room was that great. It’s a large open room with side by side tables where everyone stares at each other. (My person was a woman who looked like Lauren boebert, judging me for the elbow that occasionally hit the table). The catfish fillets are literally half the size and not as good as those you get at other places. Get the “all you can eat” for a good bit more cash, or leave hungry with the platter choice. (I cheated with the person who ordered the all you can eat for the 2 extra half pieces that made mine feel like a full meal. ) Our waitress was on point though, always checking in and bringing a plate of those ½ fillets to our table before we knew we needed them.

Best catfish i have had, you can get whole fish or filets. I get both. Slaw is great and the service is always excellent. We always look forward to our trip to Shaws !!!!!

The food was really good. Crispy oysters and shrimp. Hot fries and hush puppies which I usually don’t like but they were delicious. The coleslaw was good and sweet. I’ll definitely be coming back again. The server was very polite and provided excellent service. Thanks

Food was amazing and the atmosphere was wonderful. Very clean and staff was very friendly. The fish were fried just right and the hush puppies were great as well. The coleslaw was wonderful. Wasn’t anything I didn’t enjoy. Price was good as well about 20$ a person for all you can eat and its fried and fresh when you get it.stop by if you want some good eating in a great atmosphere and friendly staff
