Every day I pass by this little hole in the wall while taking my child to and from school on my way to work. I finally had the opportunity to stop. Immediately the yummy smells reminded me of my childhood of my grandma’s home-cooked meals which brought me to tears. Homemade tortillas, fresh hot coffee and multiple other dishes from the kitchen. I ordered the menudo and coffee and decided to sit and eat instead of placing a to-go order. To my surprise my meal also included chips, salsa and homemade tortillas. So delicious! The service was friendly, swift and courteous and I felt welcome. Even the local customers greeted each other as they sat to eat. I highly recommend this cute little place.

This place used to get everything perfect but I had to edit my review because this is the 2ndc time in a row they have messed up one of the orders. I was told the first time I was going to get a free replacement but when I went in I was told that I WAS WRONG. So now this order is messed up

The waitresses are friendly and kind. However, there is no aircon. It is highly uncomfortable for the customers, especially during summer. So expect to come out of the place with sweat and maybe, a headache. I don’t know if the management has changed but the quality of food is not the same as years ago. The vegetables are not fresh and have a freezer burn. Given these conditions – no aircon and low quality of ingredients, it is not too much to ask to lower their prices. Their prices are noticeably high for the value and quality of their services and food.
