The establishment was clean and they were nice, but my complaint would be the size of this fish. They take 1 thin catfish and cut it in half to make a 2 piece fish meal. For the price it’s not worth ordering the fish,

I used to really enjoy Golden Chick. Now, it seems, everytime I go the service is terrible. The people are not knowledgeable about the menu nor do they show ANY interest about you the customer being there. The food has gone downhill fast. I usually get a family size order of chicken strips. The last 2-3 times I’ve ordered they tasted stale. They have no “crisp” to them. DO NOT order the dirty rice. SO BAD! Just really disappointed as of late(meaning the last couple of years).

I bought the 24 pc wicked wings special that should have came with 4 rolls but only received 1 roll. I arrived home and opened the chicken box and only saw 1 roll. I had to take a triple look back inside the to go bag and inside the chicken box thinking that maybe the rolls were misplaced, but no, I received the improper amount. Very disappointed.

12/16/22: On a Friday evening, around 10:12 pm, I pulled up to the store and the door was locked. I figured that the dining room was closed, so I drove to the drive thru window. The sign on the drive thru window stated that it was open until 11pm. An African American lady was cleaning or something, and I tried to get her attention. She yelled through the closed window that the store was closed, and that they closed at 10pm. I tried to tell her that the sign on the drive thru window stated that they closed at 11pm. She then held 10 fingers up and kept saying “we close at 10”. To the franchisee: the signage on the doors and windows need to be updated to reflect actual hours of operation, to avoid customer dissatisfaction because it appears that there is no consistency in when this location actually closes.

Today 05/03/2023 at approximately 13:00 hours I was attempting to order at the Golden Chick drive-thru on 2702 Lavon Dr, Garland, TX. In the middle of ordering, the Golden Chick employee interrupted me, and told me to pull forward. I stated that I wasn’t finished with my order because she interrupted me. The employee told me I could go somewhere else. I asked for a manager, and she stated that she was the manager… I have never experienced such horrible customer service in my life. If she truly was the store manager she definitely doesn’t need to be in management.

So! I order from Uber Eats from this location. My EXTRA half dozen rolls arrive flat like a pancake and cooked crisp like a flat bread pizza. I called the store asked to speak with a supervisor, and “TONY” (probably a fake name) stated there is no supervisor in duty. But immediately starts deflecting about the issue. I said, all I need you to due is acknowledge the issue and offer to make this right! I am so fed up with ordering apps, and damaged customer service. But they never own up. This location always messes up royally and are equally rude daily! Subbed a side for my drink, no extra side, and shorted the actual roll that comes with my order!

Guy had a bad attitude in the drive thru. That container of mashed potatoes is supposed to be family sized and it’s half filled. Y’all charge like $5 for this. The scant dusting on the chicken is supposed to be their spicy chicken. Never again. Don’t bother coming here. Money is better spent elsewhere.

So disappointed on this location! First of all the drive through took forever, there was about 9 cars in front of us and some got out because of the wait and then there was 5 more behind us, but because we were around the area we decided to stay. Their customer service was okay, it slacks a bit on the customer service! Food was horrible! I got the chicken salad sandwich, which the bread was hard as a rock! I ordered mashed potatoes and the gave me nothing but gravy and NO mash. And the chicken was just not good. I had to throw my meal away. And how to go back for them to take about 30-40min ! Definitely not coming back ! they were running short on some supplies like cups and straws which was no biggy that’s understood.
