Such a shame this place has such poor quality fish. It is beautifully decorated and great location, but for sushi you need to have good fresh fish which they do not. Their price is also extremely high for the quality. They need to step up their game if they want to last as there are many better places nearby.

The sushi restaurant is located in downtown summerlin. There is ok amount of parking. The decor is nice and the lighting is a little dark. They have a good selection of drink menu. The sushi options are are numerous. They even have a lunch special. The service was pretty good. I tried the lunch special and it was very good.

Place is beautifully decorated and the food is great. Just be prepared for the check. This is NOT all you can eat. That being said, the portions are sized to share. Our party of 4 ordered 1 roll a piece and a sampling of appetizers and other menu items to share. We ended up taking food home.

Jody was our server at the Downtown Summerlin Sushi Loca; she, along with all the staff, was fantastically attentive. She noticed we were wearing Vegas Golden Knights shirts and asked if the game was on, they could try to put it on their TV. The food came to the table at a nice pace, not too slow, as we’ve seen at other sushi establishments.

As usual, Sushi Loca’s food is exceptional! I first tried it in Centennial, and this was my first time in the Summerlin one. What a great atmosphere, and it’s such a big place. I’m only taking 2 stars out because this place must extremely short-staffed to take our order after 20 minutes of sitting down and give us water within 30 mins. The older Asian hostess was amazing but doing things by herself in a big restaurant still won’t help her. Asked another lady for Wasabi, and was given chopsticks. Asked for the water twice and the wasabi 4 times until we got said water and wasabi. Overall, would ONLY recommend if you aren’t too hungry or in a hurry. 3.5 stars would be better, but definitely not a 4.
