I visited Rustico, an Italian restaurant in Telluride. The extensive menu offered a diverse selection, though not very kid-friendly. Impeccable service — Karl, our bartender, took care of everything. The food and wine exceeded our expectations. I will say that the Cream of Mushroom soup was very light — good, but very light on flavor. The Rigatoni alla Montanara was insanely awesome and the sausage was very tasty. Highly recommend that one.

Five of us had dinner at Rustico recently. We were initially seated in the main dining area, close to a table of 4 men who were so loud we could not have our own conversation. We asked if another table was available and at first, it was not. But within 5 minutes, it was and the host sat us in a much quieter room. We very much appreciated the relocation. Then we proceeded to have a nice meal with excellent service from Adam. He and the rest of the staff went out of their way to provide us an enjoyable evening. Thank you.

The food was really good. This is how second time going to this place. I think they have real authentic Italian food without question. This is a definite place to try during your visit to Telluride. However the food is a little expensive but it’s well worth it. I would recommend you to try out it.

Food was similar to First Class meals on Delta Airlines. Pasta tasted from a box, sides reheated. Osso bucco was quite overcooked and gave me indigestion. Another large group of friends went and had a similar experience. It could be because the season close is a week away, but considering that prices are still at a premium so…Nice looking bar tho, but nothing special available, maybe one or two Colorado Whiskeys. wait staff is friendly enough tho. Save your money and go elsewhere. Way too expensive for what you get

Great pasta! Not much was open during off-season so we were happy to find this place. Loved the Rigatoni Alla Montanara and would get it again. It is a bit pricey but if you’re looking for Italian in Telluride you can’t go wrong here!
