I can’t complain of the food taste but again $20 for a little piece of steak, a little bit of rice and salad, it’s exaggerated.

We decided to give this pupuseria a try because of its decent reviews, but what we experienced was far from that. To start, consistent with other people have mentioned, it takes a long time to get your food. We waited about 30-40 mins to get a dozen pupusas. Thats too long considering they were not busy when we arrived 20 mins after they opened. Once we got out food there was barely any food inside the pupusas, I could see making a mistake a one or a couple, but most of our order was just dough. Given that there are so many other Salvadoran restaurants in the area, I dont think i’d try this place again.

I went for breakfast. I really enjoyed the 2 eggs breakfast with black beans, plantains with sour cream, avocado and tortillas. I also got chicken tamales. The food was fresh and tasted very delicious. The tortillas were homemade and made at the moment, which made my breakfast even better! The tamales had very good flavor and the chicken was cooked perfectly. I also had a cup of coffee and it was hot and fresh! The location is small for dine in. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a plato típico from El Salvador.

The food was great! The service and atmosphere was not. We found ourselves waiting for the server to come greet us for at least 5-10 minutes with only two other customers in the restaurant. The tables and seats need updated. I was sitting on a bench that had a rag taped to it which I’m guessing was there so I wouldn’t hurt myself.

Food is good. Atmosphere, not so much. A smoke detector was chirping the whole time as the battery was dying, and yet nobody from the staff seemed to care and just let it continue. It was really annoying and I couldn’t take the loud sound in my ear. We ended up leaving. I assume they fixed it by now (or the battery has fully died) so you might not have to worry about that on your visit.

I have been a customer for many years before its new management. I loved this place until yesterday when I saw the cashier peeling the carrots without washing her hands. I’m done now. It’s ashame because my friend and I loved this place but no enough to take a chance in being sick.

Good eats, not great. Excellent price, good service. The decor is modest and a bit run down, but that’s secondary to a solid and thorough Central American cuisine.

The best pupusas ever! I asked the waitress for nice and crispy and she was very accommodating. Most places only offer cheese and beans pupusas but this place has chicken, pork, cheese and beans. Not to mention the homemade hot sauce is the bomb.com
