Be prepared to wait for your food unless you called ahead. It’s like home cooking so many items are prepared after you order! Love all the sides. I believe they are now closed permanently!!

Glad we found this place! Haven’t had dressing in years! Delicious! Veggie plate was yum! Ate the food so fast didn’t get a pic but enjoyed everything. Favs was Mac and cheese, yams, and dressing. Glad sides like cabbage didn’t have meat. So thoughtful for vegetarians! Sweet potato pie was good too. Nice customer service. We saw why this is a local fav! Food was fresh and hot and was worth the wait. Only minus was they were out of black eyed peas!

My mouth has been watering for a pork chop for the longest and Huffies was the only place near by I could find it. It was delicious! Satisfied my craving. They offer it in both fried or smothered in gravy!

The meat loaf and mashed potatoes were delicious. No brisket and other items. The cashier had to tell me what was available. Just one menu provided. The restaurant website shows they were closed on Saturday. I called phone number posted, but no answer. I’m glad I didn’t drive across town to find out they weren’t open during posted hours.
