David Chen’s is a staple for American-Chinese food. Always fast and friendly service — free tea and fried chips. Extremely large menu selection with reasonable prices. Great lunch special too.

Been coming here for about 20 + years. Have not been disappointed. Good food and service. The Hunan Beef/Chicken is one of my favorites. I get the Wonton Soup all the time whether eating in or taking out. It is very unique tasting compared to most wonton soups I have had and those egg rolls are very good. Definitely recommend both those items. Awaiting my next visit!

We are so sad this has gone downhill. The decor is run down, the fish tanks are stark and empty, and the food all tasted old. The sesame chicken was definitely old. Bummer!

Lots of variety and meals are not overly flavored with salt and sugar. For takeout, I can add my own seasoning (Sriracha…) Lunch includes dinner size portions with soup.

This is one of the few sit-down Chinese restaurants left in Westchester. I have never been disappointed, (although I must admit I order the same thing every time,) and the wait staff are very attentive; they remember my regular order, despite the fact I am not there on a regular basis!! I highly recommend the chicken with eggplant!

Haven’t been here in a couple of years. Big disappointment tonight. We weren’t halfway through eating soup when our main courses came. Sesame chicken and chicken and broccoli. Both dishes were fair at best. The broccoli was undercooked. The chicken was a little rubbery. The sesame chicken Was mediocre in taste and flavor. It was a Friday night and the place was empty. Wondering if they are having issues.

This is our go to Chinese restaurant and we think David Chen’s is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Westchester. It’s a 40 minute drive for us but definitely worth it. Portions are large and the food is clean.. By that I mean it is not saturated in sauces. We started with wonton eggdrop soup and fried pork dumplings. The dumplings are large and tasty! We then had shrimp and broccoli and shrimp and chicken with eggplant. Excellent! Service is very good too.

They charge $5 extra for tea and service? They managed add extra on all dishes. I did not see this on the menu, sign at the door? Or they hope you didn’t catch it. Gee! What happened if I was to bring the whole family, how much would this be? Don’t think I will take a chance. $5 for 2. What will be for 10 ?

First-the good. Service was excellent. Food was mediocre. I had beef with broccoli-beef very tender-however-had a distinct oil flavor…My husband’s chicken with vegetables was less oily flavored than mine..The vegetables were cooked perfectly. Perhaps would try another dish-another time.
