Flies in food and around our table, Steak is horrible, first burn and dry steak, 2nd steak is really hard even though is medium, I gave up after twice tried to get good steaks.For this reason I will not back to this place again. The waitress is great.

It used to be good .. but for as much as the place costs I’d expect fresher food..especially at dinner time. .. the only thing that was good was the fried chicken…a lot of food was old or cold… the deserts were bad as well…

I’m a returning visitor to Virginia. This place can be different from visit to visit. The last time I was here there was plenty of choices and great service. This latest visit was horrendous. The place was packed and there was only 3 steaks on the grill. The man didn’t even turn around to address the customers waiting at the grill. When he finally decided to serve, I got a real small piece of meat and it was tough and raw—red and cold inside like it was just cut off the cold cow carcass. The drinks were not refilled and the waitress was rarely present. We had a whole stack of dirty dishes on our table! Not so sure if I will return.

I can’t see this place staying open much longer. I recommend staying clear of this place. My visit today was very disturbing. First walking in, you’ll immediately smell a very unpleasant smell. From there you’ll start to notice how unclean everything is. The plates that we received half of them were still dirty with some traces of food on them. The silverware that we received some of those felt sticky although no visual residue on those. The biggest issue for me that simply grossed me out was seeing a roach on the juice dispenser. The next big issue that I noticed was that they had covers around the air vents. That in itself is not bad, but those covers were collecting condensation and was dripping water that could easily land in somebody’s food. There were so many issues that needs immediate attention. It’s sad because I use to be a regular and my kids love the place but I really don’t feel comfortable ever bringing them back.

I would really like to give this location a better review because I like Golden Corral but this location has had several issues each time I’ve gone there. The last time I went, the food was very good but the service was terrible, to the point where we spent a significant amount of time trying to find our server just to get plates and drinks. This time, the food was only so so. Some of the food was very good, some of it was very bad, not much in the middle. The steaks we’re being burnt to a crisp by a chef who literally disappeared for minutes at a time, so you couldn’t get anything other than well done. But this time the service was excellent. It’s just too inconsistent to want to go often.
