Stopped in for a bite with a body of mine after watching a CB. East basketball game. We were seated right away and our waitress was very attentive throughout our meal. The food itself was okay but not great. The chicken sandwich I had was a little on the dry side. The brussel sprouts were delicious and I would highly recommend ordering them.

We were in the area to visit peddlers village which happened to be very crowded like usual during the holidays and decided to find a restaurant offsite and within a few miles of there. Saw the Google reviews and pictures and decided to give it a try. For starters, when you see the name ” bar and grill” or ” pub and grill” in the name of the place you don’t really know until you get there what is the real identity of the establishment. When we pulled into the lot you kinda got the ” bar” theme right away since both entry doors had no windows. I personally hate that because almost always when you walk in right away everyone turns around and looks at you especially if you aren’t a regular. This did happen but not to the point where we were turned off. Everyone who was standing around said” hello”. It was full because the live band was about 20 minutes from starting their gig. You aren’t greeted at the door so you have to walk past the big bar area to see someone who will seat you. There’s not a lot of seating so you might have to wait. We were seated right near the band and it wasn’t extremely loud like some places so it was doable. The people who were seated near us were very lively but very fun which added to the great experience. I only gave a 3 star rating for the atmosphere because of the “no window” thing which I know is petty and it’s my personal opinion but also the furniture and decor needs an overhaul. Now what was a 4 star and 5 star respectively was the service and food. The staff and the band were very friendly and then there was the food. Oh my word, it was delicious. Our table had a cheese steak, Wyck dip sandwich, and two different burgers. The size of the sandwiches were very big and very tasty. The house made chips were a little bit overdone but still good. We had the cheese curds for the appetizer and that didn’t disappoint either. Overall I gave this place a 5 star and would definitely come back.

This place has been open as long as I’ve been alive, and for good reason. The food is good, portions are big, and the prices reasonable. Service is good too. Low key and not fancy.

Great food, but our gasses ran empty with no one to refill them.

Burger came out absolutely raw. Like not slightly undercooked and a little pink, it was raw. Not even close to warm. Deep red and bleeding. It was the only the second time in my life that I sent food back. One person working so service was also extremely slow. I wouldn’t go here.

Taylor’s was our server. I ordered the Smokehouse Burger. You need to be hungry to devour this monsters. Half pound of beef cooked the way you like it. Fresh jalapenos, pickles, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese and onions. I hate to admit it but when I put all that together I had a great juicy burger dripping with flavor. Taylor’s brought me extra napkins. I tended up cutting up my burger so I could eat every bit. You also get crispy BBQ Chips. Thank you Candlewyck and Taylor for a wonderful experience.

Sit down. Good service, I had a BLT, others had hamburgers and one had chili. All disappeared. Delicious. Will definitely go back.

Among the best wings I’ve ever had. The rest of the food is spectacular too. Very friendly staff and good beer selection. Great bottle shop attached as well. Breakfast in the bottle shop is great. Best pork roll, egg and cheese anywhere. The servers here are really excellent. New special on Tuesdays – $6 for 10 wings!
