Great to be able to sit outside. Tasty margaritas. Guacamole was excellent as were the wings. Asante carne was a little overcooked but not bad. Outside dining is shared with the BBQ place next store. Very dog friendly. Servers were a bit overwhelmed but if you’ve got the time it’s worth it.

I go here every time I go to the Berkshires! Great mainstream Mexican food, and they know their MEATS! They also have a wonderful tortilla soup and excellent guacamole, not to mention good chips and salsa for your table. The atmosphere is also very warm and pleasant, from comfortable furnishings to the art on the walls and the just-enough ambient bar noise.

Loonarie
Tucked away behind the main street in the corner of a parking lot, this dimly lit Mexican restaurant has a small bar, several tables inside, and a couple of tables outside. It has all the menu items you would expect and a couple of items that you wouldn’t expect when you walk in. When I finally got them, the chips were hot, and the salsa chunky with onions and tomatoes. The tortillas soup was thick, had plenty of chicken, and was tomato-based, not the thin broth soup you get at most places. It was also a huge portion, so I skipped ordering anything else. With only 2 servers, they were stretched a little thin, and those 2 had to also handle the brisk take-out business. The food does make it worth a return, but the atmosphere is not someplace you brag about.

We arrived very, VERY late, and they still accommodated us, serving us food. We sat in the back outside, the waiter was very nice, answering our questions regarding the menu. The food was good, very tasty.

Cheerful Mexican food in the heart of GB. Massive menu and selection on both food and drinks. Not the best Mexican food we’ve had, but certainly not the worst and definitely scratches the itch if you’re hankering for a burrito in the Berks!
