We’ve eaten here several times. The last time, we were seated by a waitress at a table near the cash register. There were 3 people working out front. There were 12 or so customers in the whole place. We sat there for about 20 minutes. The waitresses were laughing & talking with each other right behind the register (including the one who seated us). Nobody took our order. No service at all. We weren’t more than 10 feet away from them but none of them paid any attention. After 20 minutes, we got up, walked past them and out the door. None of them said a word to us. It’s one of the few restaurants that is close to our home but I don’t think we’ll ever go back.

We love this little cafe. Great food, good service and atmosphere. We even have a favorite table at this place. Everything we’ve ever ordered has been delicious. Grilled chicken, steak, BLT, potato soup, chicken noodle soup, chicken fried steak, hamburger steak… it’s all fantastic. Hubs loves the mashed potatoes and my favorite is the fried squash. Don’t forget the pie!

Was told they serve great hamburgers and have to agree. The jalapeno appetizers also were good. The service was lacking a little. Server brought jalapeños and said she would be back plates and ranch dressing but never did. Had apple cobbler first couple bites were good then rest of it was the crust and very little apple. This will not deter us from going again food was delicious

Chicken Fried Steak was one of the best I have eaten with white gravy and onions. Green Beans were fresh and tender. Coconut pudding was very good. Pam who waited on us, was very informative and very nice.

First time here and it was hands down the best chicken fried steak ive had in a long time. Both white and brown gravys were perfect. Fried okra and mashed potatoes were amazing. The special of the day was pork chops, with black eyed peas, and,cornbread. For 6.50.. My uncle said that was delicious. Both came with a small slicd of pineapple upside down cake that was mouth watering. The service was fast and friendly. The decor is very cool and the lay out, makes you feel like you stepped back in time but with space to put your elbows out. I’ll definitely be back

Great American food at good prices. Down home smiles and helpfulness. Terrific atmosphere. A real Texas license plate that says “COWBOY” on the wall. Ask for the homemade pie.

The food was excellent home cooking at a great price. Lunch special was a pork chop, sweet potatoes, black eyed peas, and cornbread for $7.50. The service was slow but pleasant. Would definitely go back.

I love Orsaks! Everything is very reasonably priced. Good news for vegans and vegetarians too because they just put a vegan patty on the burger menu! Their burgers are really delicious and the salad bar is tasty. I want a huge fan of the French fried steak with brown gravy. Next time, I’ll go for the chicken fried steak with white gravy.
