Stop fooling around and get Pizzeria Pesto. Don’t be fooled by the “typical pizza place” menu; everything you get will be prepared with the freshest and homemade ingredients. My order below on a random Thursday night – chicken parm sandwich, Sicilian pepperoni pizza, and broccoli bites – my delivery driver made sure to tell me the bread was made that afternoon and the dough fresh that morning.

The pasta (spaghetti) was horrible. May have been the gravy. Only tasted it. Tossed the whole order. Almost a pound. Everything else good, meatballs, wings, cheesesteak. Celery looked putrid but was edible.

I’ve ordered take out from here as well as stopped in to eat. The food is consistently fresh but I keep it simple, pizza’s, chicken parm etcetera. I did order a chicken cutlet with provolone and light spinach for delivery recently and was shocked that it was basically a spinach sandwich with a few chunks of chicken(the picture shows the spinach from just one half!). That’s the first time that they’ve ever made a mistake on my order so I’ll still order from here.

Excellent food. Wonderful fresh bread on their sandwiches. The proscuitto Parma sandwich is great and the penne vodka; but we haven’t been disappointed with anything yet. Also, always on time. Wonderful shop. Order through Slice (app) for great deals. Thanks Pizzaria Pesto!!!

Pretty inconsistent pizza. Sometimes great, sometimes not. I ordered a pizza delivery and it showed up very fast but it was not freshly made. They put my topping on finished pizza with some mozz and reheated the pizza. Decent pizza but little stale, not hot and the topping not well adhered to the pizza. I have gotten great pizza from them before but this was not great.

Amazing pizza! Just ordered from Pesto’s after looking at other places downtown that were a little too pricey for my taste. The slices are HUGE! I ordered two (2) 16″ pies – Bianca Nieve and a custom sausage and onion. So much flavor! Definitely love supporting local businesses! Will definitely order again from these guys!

I have to say the bread here is so delicious be it the rolls for sandwiches i feel they are up there with top like sarcones etc the pizza is vg as are sandwiches my negative is the are very low on spices ive ordered hoagies etc that are bit bland also pizza bit bland but i guess they leave it to the buyer to spice it up to own taste! Nice full sandwiches! Ordered the veg Stromboli very good in taste.. but didn’t like how big & stringy long hard pieces of rabe or whatever was in it … needs be chopped finer in my opinion… but all in all one tops here in s philly & the restaurant food next door to die for!!
