Best hole in the wall Mexican food around. Huge portions especially the burrito, beautifully done tamale, very generous with the guacamole and the flavors are sublime. Take out only when we went but a couple tables outside is chill on a nice day. While there check out Macrina Bakery across the street for dessert. Will definitely be back!

YES!!! Unlike much of Seattle this place is Affordable and reasonably priced because the quality is an A+ in addition to the amount you receive. Ordered a Carne Asada Burrito and y’all, YES. Well seasoned, Freshly made and nice portion. Didnt feel corporate. Will be my new go to spot for Mexican food.

I got the mix asada burrito. Giant burrito and the ingredients were clean, but for me, it lacked flavor. I also got a pork tamale, and it was dry, so dry. The meal came with salsa, which was the tastiest thing I had. Malena’s was busy when I went, nonstop line. I will try this restaurant again in hopes this was just an off day for them. But for now, it was mediocre.

Grubbinest I’ve had in awhile. My takeout was heavy and I was stuffed before I was finished. That doesn’t happen with lots of places now but their food was plentiful and delicious and very reasonably priced. So glad I went to Malena’s today!

Citizens of Seattle come get some tacos they are delicious and loaded I been looking for a good taco shop and I found it 5 minutes away from home. I had one taco d carnitas,fish,carne asada and one jarrito for about $14. Parking is a bit challenging but you can find parking spot on the side roads.

Delicious tacos made quickly (the asada tacos do come with guac on top which was new for me but I’m from the East Coast so figured it could be the norm out West). This is take out only but there are tables outside you can sit by.

2018: Amazing carnitas! Good price to portion and did I mention the carnitas! The tenderness and charred bits of delicious pork wrapped in a taco is very delicious! Worth the trip to Queen Anne! Plus free chips and salsa if you eat there.

Fish burrito hits!!! We get it with a side of bean and rice and share between two people. I’m hankerin’ for it today and they’re closed. Good for them!!! . I’ll not even try to get something comparable elsewhere. The batter on the fish is just the right amount of crispy and seasoned so well and all the other elements are so refreshing and complimentary.

Ordered 2 Asada burritos with guac. Portion was more than expected and for the price, reasonable. However, the burrito itself lacked flavor/seasoning and the meat was pretty tough. The salsa was also just ok, no heat and reminded me of caned salsa, nothing screamed authentic. The cashier was kind and the food was prepared quickly. Overall don’t know if I’ll give them another try anytime soon, and believe me, I wanted to love them.
