Absolute yes for me. The vibes, the food, the staff were just chefs kiss. Some friends wanted to take me here when I came into town because they liked it so much. Gonna be upset when I start craving this place tho. I hope they come to Houston! I recommend the pork belly with garlic and the spicy pork & squid stir fry.

Had a great meal tonight with excellent service. The skewers came to the table piping hot and full of flavor. The spicy edemame as a free starter was a pleasant surprise. A great date night. Noah was amazing and his recommendations were spot on.

Pochakaya is a little ways out in Carrollton but worth the trek! Last night was totally supposed to be chill but $9.99 soju bottles just happened to be on special (deal through next Friday!)

Foods presentation look good and great decorations that make you feel like you’re in South Korea. But I’m not sure about the menu prices maybe cause it’s pocha (bar foods) and it’s big serving. Recommended to share a dish with 2-3 people.

This place was over priced. We got chicken skewers, bagogi, cheese and chicken, and a small uni bowl (35). Our bill was 100 for the two of us. Looking at the prices of all the menu items other than the uni, it’s the same prices as a lower fine dining restaurant that is established and well known. Everything was okay. Service, atmosphere, and food was simply ok. If the dishes had more flavors to match the prices I would come back. But since the restaurant is new I think the owner and chefs need to take more time adding flavor to their products before they charge as much as they are.

I didn’t try any of the Korean Korean food, but I did get a sushi sampler, lots of yakitori and beef tartare, sashimi salad, cheese corn. Beef tartare was bomb! Yakitori was in point too sushi sampler was ehh ok, I didn’t like a lot of the pieces on there. So I left a view behind that I just didn’t want to eat. Our waiter saw and asked if I wanted to eat it, I politely said, I don’t like those cuts of fish but it’s ok! He came back with different cuts of fish to make sure I was happy. He didn’t have to do that because we were stuffed but I appreciate how kind he was and wanted us to have a good experience. Which we did! Left full and happy.

I really should get on Google reviews more because there are plenty of places that deserve great stars, and also because leaving terrible reviews makes me feel like an awful person for only coming on to leave one star reviews. But this is a PSA: The food tastes good…but not for the prices paid. If you’re going to order Tteokbokki, take your own rice cakes because they will give you 13 pieces with soupy sauce enough to feed 8 people. So just take pre cooked rice cakes and add them to their soupy sauce base. Then it’s worth the whopping $19 for that plate. The other dishes are all ranged $18 to 48 and more. The ambiance and vibe of the place is mediocre. Nothing to die for or pay for to get good vibes and views. I went with a group of friends and left super disappointed! The food is soooo strangely overpriced. Like why?!!

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The service was excellent, and they even surprised us with a delicious purple cake. The food was also delicious and authentic in flavor. I’ll definitely be visiting again next time.
