We ate here several days ago. The popcorn shrimp plate was delicious & good size serving. The large garden salad was also delicious. My husband got a good serving of salmon that he loved & my son got a good cheese pizza. Accidently left my bag there, I live about 1 1/2 hrs away, they called me & put it up for me & we picked it up the next day. Very honest & great folks. The guests beside us said the beef tips were rely good. We hope to visit again.

I rarely give bad reviews but there were so many things wrong with this dinner, I felt it was necessary. To start, we walked in and NONE of the restaurant staff were wearing masks, none. Also, the lady taking our order said that they were opened for full capacity which is against state mandates at this time. Then, it took over an hour and 20 min. to get our takeout. We ordered fried mushrooms, popcorn shrimp platter, a seafood platter, and a sub. There were no flatware, no napkins, no starter sauce, cocktail sauce, no dipping sauce for the mushrooms… There were no chips with the sub and one coleslaw was missing from one of the platters. Most our food was cold by the time we got it. Everything but the mushrooms were over cooked. Even the sub was toasted until it was difficult to bite into. My son complained it gave him a cut in his inner lip. Some may like their fried foods dark brown and tough but I prefer mine just done and golden. The seafood that was breaded was almost all bread. We opened up all the popcorn shrimp and all but a few were just fried bread balls… No shrimp in the majority of the meal. Although, I have to give credit where credit is do. The staff were very friendly during our wait. I wanted to try this restaurant because it was new and close to home and our preferred seafood place is a ways to drive into Bristol. I will continue to go to our tried and true Greene’s Fresh Seafood Market, instead.

Awful. They left out half of our meal and told us false information about our food. Nobody there knew what they were doing. The waitress took forever and still seemed to mess up our order. The shrimp was very plain and the fries are the cheap kind that you would get at a school cafeteria. It took forever and was not worth the wait. Me and my family were very disappointed. We paid way more than we should have because they left out a lot of our meal. If you go here do not expect much. The best they had was the calamari which had no flavor. I’m sad.

Tried the 12 piece family-sized meal with cole slaw, hush puppies and two sides per $20 coupon on menu that arrived in mail. The fish was excellent as well as the hush puppies which are homemade. For sides we chose mac & cheese and onion rings. We liked the onion rings better than the mac & cheese but that may have been just us. The mac & cheese seemed to be lacking salt or something. The portions are huge and we were very pleased overall. I hope they continue this option in the future. Well worth the money! Great restaurant for Chilhowie!

The food was very good, I met the ownwr, they cook everything fresh. I tried several of the sauces for sandwiches and seafood. Very good quality good. Great slightly sweet hushpuppies. Homemade ranch. Great burgers n fries. Everything cooked to perfection.

It may not be the fanciest place in town but I will tell you I had the best breakfast ever. Bacon, eggs, home fries, gravy and Texas toast. I did not like my coffee being served in a styrofoam cup however I did not say anything because I don’t know if it was due to the Covid or not… if I could just change one thing I wish they would offer different kind of toast they only heads one choice and I didn’t really care too much for it maybe cuz it was too thick.then gravy Ford on top of it made it nice and Soggy. Maybe a nice sourdough bread or whole wheat would be nice I will definitely go back for seconds.

Order door dash from their they didn’t receive the order chilhowie pizza did so they told the driver to go to chilhowie pizza and when she arrived they told her they couldn’t make the order for some reason do not recommend ordering doordash from them. The same people own both restaurants so the orders are tied in together.

Ate at warriors island in Chilhowie for dinner. Seafood sampler 17.00, Three orders of cheese sticks 18.00, Two BLT 12.00, One baked potato 6.00, Medium Calzone from another store 9.00. Bill at check out over 100.00. Two trips at the same time…… First and Last.
