If you are ever in Stanley, ID in the Sawtooth National Forest area, stop by La Osera, a food truck in front of the Sawtooth Spirit store and in the Visitor Information plaza. The empanadas are golden and delicious and the guava empanadas are buttery, sweet, and delicious! You can definitely feel and taste that it is “Made with Love!” The view while you’re enjoying the empanadas is also scenic and worthy of the delicious food! Really great homemade empanadas. The dough was soft, crispy, and flaky in the best way; and the fillings were fresh and hot and tasty. Me and my wife pulled off the road to make some phone calls, saw this food trailer and decided to go for it. Ordered three empanadas and walked back up for two more cause they were so good. Show some love and buy some food when you’re in town! Extremely worth the stop.
