Solid joint for Mexican grub, located next to the San Mateo CalTrain station. The food was pretty good overall; the chicken burrito has some good flavor, but the nachos had what I think is canned cheese sauce. The staff were super cool and they work hard.

My friend Ordered TWO BURRITOS to go. One for him and one for me. We found large piece of tomato in both of the burritos. I have prepared food for a restaurant before. So as a person who cares about cleanliness and Great Costumer Service… The large pieces of tomato that were found in both burritos would NOT have made it to the costumers. Try a burrito for your self and you decide.

I got ripped off by this place.. the order came with very little protein on my dinner plate. Paid $20.00 which was $2.00 more than the online price after tax. Other places usually give me way more for a few dollars less. Food was not flavorful either. Do not recommend.

Always was a fan of the original place in SF but I tried this one here in San Mateo and wasn’t a fan Burrito was ok chips stale they don’t offer extra salsa they charge u for chips to dine in for the price you pay there are other spots I will go back to gave it a chance

I ordered a super shrimp burrito and it came out to be about $14. The burrito was good but I wasn’t give any salsa or chips with my order, not even a bag. Just the burrito and a few napkins. I really want to like this place, but I feel like there are better deals just a few doors down.
