This was my first visit to this establishment. My husband and I are both full blooded Italian and have been enjoying Italian food all of our lives. My husband is actually from Little Italy, NY as well as Brooklyn, NY. I found no problem with the decor or staff. The owner was friendly and welcoming. The dining room was clean and inviting. Actually I would have given a four to five star rating. There was one thing that I just could not overlook. The over use of garlic was offensive. Garlic should enhance the flavor of a recipe rather than overpower the main ingredients of a recipe. Other than the over use of garlic the food would have been excellent. I am hoping that the chef will take this as constructive criticism, We will try again in the future to see if a correction is made. Good luck with your new location.

Great food and the entertainment is fabulous. We had a great evening with Bobby Valli on Friday night. The chicken Franchese was the best I’ve ever had and my husband enjoyed the salmon immensely! The owners are lovely and so nice. We will definitely be back!!

Place is very nice inside and service is wonderful and the live entertainment was also great. Food was ok. First we were seated, had their bread with olive oil and seasonings, it was good. Our appetizer, the fried buffalo mozzarella, it was a fried grilled cheese with Italian bread it seemed like. The bread held the oil in and it was not the greatest, I would have used a better bread or find a different way to cook it, maybe bake it? Then out entree’ s came out, I had a steak cooked medium, mash potatoes that could use some more seasoning and the asparagus was cooked way to much, it needed something other than being steamed and put on the plate; bake it with parmesan cheese and drizzle balsamic glaze over it to make it more enjoyable rather than pure asparagus taste. My wife ordered eggplant parm, and it had little eggplant, alot of cheese, and the sauce was over sweeetened. Last but not least was dessert, a tiramisu, it was more like a cake. Ladyfingers were soaked in espresso which is fine I like it that way but the buttercream on top? I was not expecting a cake and neither was my wife. We would go back again and try it to give it a second chance but it it not our 1st choice.

I’m sure it honestly doesn’t look good when your first review on a restaurant is a 1 out of 5, but I can say with all certanty this is one of the worst “Italian” restaurants I’ve ever been to. For starters, there were only 4 tables taken up for the entire 2 1/2 hours we were there. But that’s besides the point, the service was terrible, we constantly had to ask for the same thing over and over again to finally get what we asked for the 4th or 5th time. It took about 35 minutes for my calamari to come out (keep in mind, the only appetizer ordered). After we finished the calamari, it took about another 30 minutes for them to bring out the salads that came with out entrees and after that it took about 45 minutes for the entrees. This is a new restaurant (third one in this building in the past two years and I’m sure this won’t be the last one), if you want to get good Italian food you have a better chance of finding it at McDonald’s. To top it all off too there was hair in one of the entrees, this is definitely a place you should not waste your money on.

Food was good, but felt salt and pepper shouldn’t have been an option. Same with bread . They should be automatically put on your table. The reason for eating is to “break bread” especially at an Italian restaurant. I will be back, but don’t make me write this

For apps, we split the Calamari Oreganata and the Giant Stuffed Portabello Mushroom. Billed as “Prepared with our special oreganata mixture then drizzled in our homemade balsamic reducton”, the calamari was sauteed perfectly, however the abundance of balsamic vinegar was the only thing we could taste. It was not a drizzle, it was a steady rain. The Giant Portobello was not giant; it was not even what I would consider a large portobello. It came overcooked (some of the bottom was burned & crusty) and really didn’t have much flavor despite all the ingredients.

Food is excellent, service is outstanding and the owners very personable. I’m sure there are some people who you “can not please” and I consider myself a very good judge of Italian food so I can not give anything but a great review, if I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Horrible service waited 1 hour for food. Place was not even crowded. Manager nor cook came out to apologize. Food wasn’t that good, spent over 200.00dollars. Never again will I eat there or recommend it to anyone
