Hitters ain’t Hitting . This place used to be really good. The potatoe Salad is spicy. It’s like the poured all the black pepper in the potatoes salad. It didn’t used to taste like that. The ribs were dry and rubbery. The brisket was slimey. I was not thrilled with the BBQ AT ALL. I GUESS THEY HAVE A NEW CHEF. WELL HE AINT CHEFFING .

I drive by this place all the time. Decided it was time to give it a try, and I was not disappointed. I got the brisket potato and it was so good! And gigantic! Do yourself a favor and get some food here!

OMG! If you want REAL BBQ you definitely have to come to Hitters. The food is absolutely AMAZING! If you want seasoned meat and sides… they got it!!! Hint: their brisket nachos and loaded fries are the BEST I ever tasted. The food is a 10!

Texas BBQ has always been a hit or Miss for me. This time Hitter’s hit it on the nail. The meat was perfectly seasoned and smoked. Wasn’t dry. It was juicy and flavorful. The meat didn’t even need any sauce. As for the brisket baked beans, some of the best beans I’ve ever had. You can tell they were fresh and made from scratch. Look like I just found my new BBQ joint.

I’ve been coming here for a while now. I don’t know what’s going on today but the sliced beef sandwich was extremely dry and old with no flavor at all. Waste of $9.73 for sure and it will be a LONG time before I come back.

Never again. The brisket is mediocre, and the loaded macaroni tasted rotted! The potato salad was the only good thing. The atmosphere was poor, as well. 3 or 4 hightables that seat 2 people. It is not a place to sit down.

I read some bad reviews, I was just in the mood for BBQ and I didn’t want to go to Pappas Bbq so I came . Only thing ,they were out of potatoes. But this place is good enough for me . This place gets a good reviews for it’s flavor.. slightly smokey, sweet, crisp lil spots..just delicious. Thanks

RUN DON’T WALK to this establishment. I’ve had a lot of BBQ here in Houston, and I can say with confidence that this is the BEST in the city. Trust me. Hitters is a black owned restaurant operated by family. My food was delicious and customer service was great.

The first time I came service was good they have a nice young lady running the cash register. I came for deer sausage but they didn’t have any, so I opted for beef sausage and Mac and cheese and baked beans they were both bomb! The beef sausage did lack a bit…I also ordered Load fries which were not loaded, it only came with brisket no cheese no sour cream.
