My dining experience here was excellent; from the seating staff to serving to the speed at which the food was prepared and served to us. The one downside to having such a great experience is that there were a lot of people dining here, and that created quite a lot of background noise which led to a higher difficulty to converse with my dining partner.

I wanted almost everything on their huge menu for breakfast. Realized I have to go back for lunch! I’m always trying to find a place with REAL biscuits and REAL gravy, and this is it. Just like growing up; drop biscuits on Sunday morning. Take your mom there anytime, she will be thrilled.

This place was ok. When you walk in, it is bright and pretty. Everything is white and light.

We came in around 1pm on a Saturday and place was decently packed but still tables available. I had the country fried steak and red mashed potatoes which was delicious. My husband ordered the South of the Border Fried chicken and it was amazing. Check out the pic!

Very cute restaurant, nice atmosphere, clean, huge portions for the prices (I ordered a smaller plate), and friendly staff. Coffee is a bit bitter strong, but a little extra creamer helped. Found this restaurant through Groupon, and we were not disappointed!

Highs were the Cajun sauce on the omelette, and the sausage gravy on the biscuits. Fried green tomatoes, kitchen fritters and corned beef hash were all one or two taste = “no” for us.. we were hungry but lots of food left uneaten. Chicken tenders for picky kids were also fine. Real tenderloin pieces, not ground and reformed nuggets style.

My recent dining experience at The Southern Kitchen in Arlington Heights was absolutely outstanding, leaving me with no choice but to give it a well-deserved five-star rating. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with warm southern hospitality (yes, even though we were in Illinois) that set the tone for an unforgettable experience.

Was excited to try the new Southern Kitchen that opened up in Arlington Heights! We love the one in Roselle so was hoping this one was good too.

This restaurant was packed top to bottom for Saturday brunch. My wife and I were seated within 10 minutes. The wait staff was friendly and the service was quick. The Bloody Mary was good and alcoholic brunch beverages are priced fair at $8. I opted for the stacked biscuit with country fried steak (eggs over easy). The breakfast was exactly what I expected and cooked perfectly. The prices are very fair, the service was quick, the staff was friendly and it was a bright, clean and well taken care of establishment.

We loved it. We had to wait about 15 min to be seated. Atmosphere is loud. Don’t wait till you are hungry to drive there otherwise you will be starving by the time food comes. Portions are huge fairly priced. Baileys coffee will make you enjoy the wait. Friendly service. Their soup and chips are so goood!!
