La Parolaccia has been a family owned business since 2006. We are from Rome Italy and hope to bring some of our homestyle Italian cooking to you. La Parolaccia offers a relaxed and intimate atmosphere where everyone is treated like family and enjoys delicious pizza, pasta and wine.
La Parolaccia in Italian means the bad word. In Italy an osteria is a down to earth establishment where friends and family gather to enjoy great food and occasionally let out a parolaccia. We hope our home away from home becomes a place where you form great memories around great food.
Ci vediamo presto!
We accept reservations for parties of 3 or more only. Reservations can be made only by calling the restaurant during business hours.

Wow! Food was amazing! Great great pizza and loved eating outdoors. All the food was amazing and I would definitely recommend for a family dinner or a friends night out. We found parking down the street and the customer service was great.

My boyfriend, my best friend, and I absolutely love this place! The ambiance is quite intimate and the food is made with quality and love. For some reason, we always get Marco as our waiter and he’s always so skilled. On many occasions, we’ve overheard Italian people come in and talk with the staff in Italian and you can really tell that it’s a real local, authentic place. The pizza is thin and usually comes out quick, the sauce always has great consistency, enjoyable mouth feel. My personal favorite that I must always get is the paparadelle e burrata (with braised short rib and saffron cream sauce). The pasta is fresh and the texture tells you it was hand made; soft, but still held its structure. The cream sauce is subtle, but you can not get enough of it! A true culinary experience, beautiful food and beautiful people!

Delicious food, we ordered everything and we lived it all. It was almost like being back in Italy ! Highly recommend the pizza, eggplant, and pasta dishes !! Great service but recommend a reservation as it is popular! Expect to pay well but for great food and large portions!

This place is well worth the wait. The best Italian/Roman I have had in Southern California, and even better than some places I’ve been to in Rome! The lobster ravioli was out of this world as was the pizza crust – so fluffy & light. The biggest highlight for me was the chocolate cake omg it was so good. The tiramisu (not pictured) was lovely as well but you gotta try the chocolate cake!

I had to give 2 stars because I dined in about a week ago had great service, pasta, and pizza. Perfect serving sizes for 3 people to share. This week I ordered again but take out and I feel slighted. They didn’t even put enough past in the container to fill it up. For $27 I don’t think so.

Seating was prompt despite a crowd of people waiting outside. However, I arrived a few minutes before a white mom and daughter showed up next to me, yet they were serviced immediately by this guy who seemed to be working all tables nearby except for mine. Everyone was offered pepper, cheese, water except for me, which was uncomfortable considering I was the only person of color and I could observe the extreme discrepancy in service with all tables being so close. Saw my server once after placing my order, while the server working the other tables around me had constant check ins, refills, and service…. interesting. My server seemed split between 2 seating areas but he was so busy with this one table asking him to cut their food, and tiny requests here and there, I ended up waiting at least 20 minutes after eating my meal to get a check. Thankfully friendly bus staff noticed and helped out. Didn’t get an apology or acknowledgment for the discrepancy in service. Wouldn’t come again. Pizza was good, thin crust. Bucatini caccio e Pepe was not good at all, thick Alfredo sauce almost reminded me of Ragu, more of a Mac and cheese dish and not much pecorino the way it should be

This place fine. I felt like I need more out of it. The place looks great. The good was okay. Parking is on the street. I got lucky and found one right away. The shrimp and lobster ravioli was good, but was “stuffed ” enough for only having for pieces on the plate for $27.
