Like others have mentioned the ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful, and really makes it seem legit/fancy. However, the food was mediocre (it looks good, but the taste is lacking). The appetizer shrimp filo was decent. The lard nar noodles and Chinese broccoli were great, but the chicken was very dry and ruined the dish for me. The green curry offers some spice, but it’s not overwhelming. The taste was not too bad, but again the chicken was very dry. Overall, I’ve had better Thai places around central NJ.

Very authentic Thai food can be tasted here. The wait time can vary based on the day you chose but they have enough tables. Serving is quite fast. We ordered dumpling and chicken puff as starter. It was an unique experience. For main course we tasted drunken noodle and chicken Red Thai curry. I liked the curry a lot and portion size is good for two. There are other options too. Also I found interesting that you can bring your own booze.

We went here for lunch during a little trip to Metuchen. Beautiful little Thai place with a very high-class serving style! We were seated for a table of 4 as soon as we walked in. The menus have little tabs to help you find what type of meal you want, and it comes with pictures of the food if you’re new to Thai food. Our party ordered the spring rolls, shrimp filo, and pad thai lunch special. The pad thai came with the best side salad I’ve ever had! The food itself arrived in under 15 minutes, the plating was gorgeous- the spring rolls were the prettiest but we ate the food before I got a picture. All of it was delicious, and total came out to $34 to feed three. Lovely place to get authentic Thai food, stellar service, I would highly reccomend Phattra Thai if you’re in the area!

Extremely disappointed by my recent experience here. My friends and I have been patronizing this restaurant for years now, the ambience is great and the food was always quality. Unfortunately, last night, we got takeout–one tofu dish and one shrimp dish (we do not eat meat for religious reasons). The dish with shrimp had a huge piece of chicken in it, which also made us suspicious of the tofu dish as well, as it seemed like there may have been 1-2 very small pieces of chicken but we just couldn’t be sure. Upon calling the restaurant immediately about this, they continually stated that since it’s “only one piece of chicken” it’s not a big deal, not caring or understanding that there is a religious reason and it has now tainted the dish, which was off-putting to say the least.

Lovely place with a great decor. Service was amazing. For appetizers we got chicken satay and tofu. chicken pad see , pad Thai and chicken drunken noodles were tasty, but the sauce seemed on the thinner side. Also for moderate spice levels you can ask for 2/5. Parking is metered right outside the restaurant on the Main Street. Would definitely recommend.

Don’t get the roti Thai style, would not recommend. While it tastes good (a bit too sweet), the portion size was insanely tiny. The roti is the size of a tiny and thin 3in tortilla and they only gave one piece, along with only three spoonfuls of massaman curry. Entire dish was $10.95 and gone in 3 tiny bites, about the equivalent of a sample I’d get while grocery shopping

The ambiance is very cosy and comfortable. Our server, Pair, was quick to take our orders and bring the dishes. She was also extra attentive to any requests that we made through the evening. We were celebrating a birthday, they kept our cake in the back and brought it out with music when we requested it.
