Tamales are good but now they’re just overpriced. I remember when they were $25 a dozen, then $35, then they popped up on an episode on ABC30 and the price went to $45. Not worth the price anymore. The lady in front of the Catholic Church in downtown makes them just as good and charges $22 dozen.

The red pork tamales omgosh they are not playing really felt like I walked into my grandmas kitchen and just got a tamale out the pot seriously that good and the people who work there are so kind and friendly honestly you can tell they really care about their customers 10/10 we will keep coming back my husband and I loved the tamales and to our surprise so did our kids even the middle child and he is the pickiest eater he’s always the one to turn food away if anything is off but this time mouth full of tamale and all smiles doing a happy bounce in his seat

I love the traditional Mexican tamales they make I have only had them a few times but I will differently be back they are so delicious and so friendly I tryed a new one I hadn’t tryed from them today (the green chili and cheese chicken ) one Delious I am differently going to there restaurant for food.

I wish we could give them more than 5 STARS…Saw them on Channel 30 Dine and Dish, ordered 1.5 dozen Tamales the next day and they definitely DID NOT disappoint!!! Excellent quality and ratio of filling to masa, also perfectly seasoned. We bought 3 different types of Tamales, all of them are delicious!!! The staff are very friendly and inviting…really nice to support LOCAL/Family Owned business.

After all the conflicting business hours shown on their website and social media we called them to order the guy that answered said they didn’t open til 11 but if we wanted tamales it would be like a 2 hour wait by appointment and they close at 1 pm. We went to tamales to go instead after that. They were great. How do you have business like that with no tamales ready when that’s the specialty.?smh
