I am there at least once a week. The caffeine menu is very good with seasonal additions, and the pastry selection matches it. The Brewery, and now several cocktails have added to the overall experience, especially when catching the live entertainment they book. The staff is always friendly. The owners are a hard working couple, who are supportive of not only the growing arts community, but also the various groups and organizations which keeps downtown Phoenixville vibrant 7 days a week!

We live within walking distance of Steel City and it has become our main go-to not just for coffee, but also for food and just general hangout space. The owners and staff are just awesome, they always take really good care of us, and the food is excellent– high quality and fresh ingredients. Definitely the best spot in Phoenixville!

We love Steel City and the Mont Clare Deli! Since moving to the area in 2020 we have begun to visit one or both locations multiple times a week. The staff are always excellent and the food / drink are superb. We also love that the owners are both local and fully invested in the community.

Steel City has the best coffee and atmosphere of any coffeehouse anywhere. The food is consistently excellent, and they are always welcoming to everyone of any color, not to mention all of us who might be noticeably not straight, as well as the population in the town of people who are on the spectrum or otherwise challenged. Plus of course, the best open mike anywhere.

Love the vibe! A friendly coffeehouse with great coffee, eats, and local spirts available. A supporter of the community that sponsors several annual events. And now, for the best part, some of the best local music around! My highest recommendation…

This coffee house is a staple in our community! Anytime I meet someone for business or leisure this is always the choice spot. There is always a good show or a good community activity there at night. Their food is amazing and their coffee is well blended! If you come to Phoenixville this is a must stop place!

Steel City Coffeehouse & Bar is the perfect mix of alcohol and caffeine. Their coffee selection when I went there in December was perfect just as it is now. I liked the staff, the comfort of the place, the fact that is has character by having local artists’ work on the walls to purchase, and so on. There are restrooms available. They also have open mic night and music on certain days. The coffee was delicious, and the pasties are to die for. If you’re visiting Phoenixville, you gotta come here!

We went here during pride and even though the line was out the door, it definitely didn’t take long to get our drinks!! I got a dirty chai and my boyfriend got a mocha frappe and they were both amazing. I drank mine so fast because I couldn’t get enough 🙂 when I’m back in the area I will definitely visit again! A must visit spot!! The ambiance was also nice, but loud. It could have been due to so many people there but not bad hehe. It also wasn’t that expensive at all!!

As someone who frequents downtown Phoenixville, it’s always good to pop into Steel City either for breakfast, lunch, or just to grab a quick beverage! The atmosphere is always very nice and peaceful even when it’s absolutely packed. Keep in mind they have a smal kitchen so if you do see a line, you will have to wait a little while but the food and service is absolutely worth the wait! Their menu has a ton of options to choose from with monthly specials so you’re always able to try something new!

One of my favorite places to go and listen to live music. Laura and Ed pour their heart and soul into this place and it shows the moment you walk through the door. ♥️
