This place is amazing!! As a visiting vegan from Austin, I was so stoked to find this vegan taco shop right down the street from my hotel. I went there 2 days in a row, and it was absolutely delicious on both occasions. The jackfruit barbacoa was awesome. Additionally, the staff are incredibly kind and excited to share their food with you. I can’t wait to go back when I’m in SA again. Check this place out!! You won’t regret it!

I’ve enjoyed these tacos through different venders and love that they are gluten-free and dairy free. Happy they now have a sit down location with a full menu. Amazing taste! Recommend La Matcha!

I’m visiting San Antonio and upon looking for vegan options I came across this small restaurant. The tacos will satisfy your craving for breakfast tacos. The customer service was excellent. The flavor was there and the tacos are perfect size. I wish they didn’t run out of vegan horchata tho.. they should make a bigger batch. Their salsa needs to be spicier too, but overall it was great.

We stayed at Hotel Gibbs around the corner. Many reviews of local restaurants are horrible and we were looking for a place for tacos .

This was a great find. Needed a quick bite and found this near the Alamo. The tacos are big two or three are enough person. My favorite are the barbacoa tacos and the fresh water is also great.

Took me two visits to have all the tacos available. All are exceptional. I’m not a big fan of vegan barbacoa, but theirs is pretty good. They also house-make both the flour and corn tortillas which is a huge plus for a a taqueria.

Walking into the establishment you are greeted with smoke. A little unpleasant. But the food…that was the most savory tacos I have had. It is slightly expensive but I enjoyed every single ítem I had. Had their mini tacos: 4 total and their guac and chips, as well as their agua frescas: cucumber-lime. Paid about $30 for all that. I really do think people should try it out at least once.

I’ve been to this place twice in the 3 days I’ve been in San Antonio. Every taco I’ve had has been delicious. I also highly recommend the Aguas Frescas. Definitely check this place out!
