What a neat find! Clam strips, lobster roll, scallops, and hot dogs were all good. Lots of fried food but very tasty. Live music, outdoor games, and plenty of space to sit, and for kids to run around.

Very chill and relaxed atmosphere. During the day it’s great to bring your kids since they can run around the grounds while you enjoy your lobsters and a cold brew/cocktails. At night it transforms into an adults only campfire hangout spot with live music.

I’ve eaten and drank here many times in the past and have always enjoyed it.

Have nothing but great things to say about The Rough. The atmosphere is so fun and lively. There is music, corn hole and other games that the whole family can enjoy. The food is also fantastic and there is a huge variety of options. I had my wedding here last summer and they truly made everything I wanted my big day to be, happen. I am so happy today is their opening day and can’t wait for a fun summer.

Great open outdoor atmosphere! My family comes here for a reunion every year. Year after year we come back because we can stay and hangout as long as we want. Cornhole and bocce ball is set up. Food is a lot more expensive this year (just like everywhere else) so not as much was sold. Tend your own fire pits in the front and back. See you next year!

The atmosphere is great…probably more of a teen+ theres axe throwing, camp fire, corn hole and a bar. I spent $85 on food and ended up throwing half out. French fries were good…fried haddock, shrimp and scallops all over cooked rubbery and dry. Very disappointing.

Food is over cooked, particularly the belly clams and fish & chips. Also way over priced. The service is nothing more than order and pick up counter.

Our favorite takeout seafood place was packed so we drove further north to look for another restaurant. We accidentally found lobster in the rough – it was set back a ways off the road. We had never heard of this place so our expectations were low. However, we were pleasantly surprised as the fried seafood was excellent. Good quantity of food for the price and fast service. The fish was fresh and tasty. Lots of picnic tables both in and out of the sun. We will definitely be back soon.

Great live music and atmosphere. Drink prices were reasonable. Food was worse than average and EXTREMELY overpriced.
