Every visit to Palm Springs must include a meal at The Palms. Their pancakes ruined all other pancakes for me, this is the best. Thin crispy tender pancake! All of the meals I’ve had here have been delicious. The staff are prompt and courteous! There’s plenty of parking in the many lots. The atmosphere is a casual coffee shop, great AC and misters outside to keep you cool in the Palm Springs heat.

Had the weekend at Palm Springs and this place is the good for the breakfast. The good weather so we decided to have the outdoor sitting. They have a dozen of tables outside. And just grabbed the table to wait for the waiter. The only problem is that you don’t know how long to wait for ordering or being served. We waited almost 8-10mins. But it’s ok, we were not rushing to do something. And the menu is very good, many choices and they all sounded very good. We have the eggs with biscuits and grave and egg omelette (trailblazer) with pancake on the side. They are all very good.m, especially the pancake if you don’t expect anything very fancy, this is your good place to choose!

We came in and the lady at the door was so nice had the door open ready for me very welcoming. My server was kind of ignoring me until my friend got there so we ordered right away. I order a fruit plate as I was skeptical about this place and sure enough I was right. The fruit plate was all cantaloupe. I had 3 slithers of watermelon 2 honeydew pieces and 5 grapes with a bowl of cantaloupe. The worst part is that the fruit was warm. I didn’t feel good eating warm fruit and I didn’t want a bowl of cantaloupe. I was turned off. We payed and took off to eat somewhere else.

Had a breakfast meeting. Ran about 1.5 hours, we just had coffee, but the waiter was so nice, kept our cups full the whole time. We left him a nice tip since we tied up his table so long. It was a very nice environment, conducive to business discussion.

Our waiter was great and the atmosphere was nice. However, the food was horrible. There were six of us, and everyone said their food tasted weird. Belgian waffle was rubbery, my omelet..I can’t explain the horrible taste. One person got sick about 2 hours after their meal. It was as though the food was cooked using old and overused oil someone said. We didn’t take another bite and had to eat somewhere else. Cannot recommend at all. The food was pricy as well but we were aware before going and expected good food.

This is primarily a breakfast place, well located on Highway 111 in La Quinta in the frontage of the Wal Mart. They serve lunch, but have not tried that. We tried it on our quest to find the best breadfast in La Quinta. This wasn’t it, but it wasn’t bad either. Not a great review, but I would go again.
