I don’t often eat Italian food, but I’m glad to have stopped by. My table shared a couple plates and an appetizer. The restaurant is well decorated, but they do have an awkwardly placed bar seating that is right behind tables, so other people are sitting right behind you, but elevated – able to see and hear everything you are doing. We loved the gnocchi, but burrata always wins me over – so simple and crisp, especially with the peaches. This spot is good for a nicer evening with friends, a date night with the potential for “treating yourself”, or maybe a birthday. The staff is helpful, if you have questions on drinks or pasta types they are able to help.

The wife and I went here for my birthday and had a lovely time. The service was friendly and attentive (thank you Sabrina!) And the food was fantastic. Looks like the pasta is freshly made to order, and you can really taste the difference. We appreciated the creative use of ingredients and seasonings. Everything we had was divine. My only regret is that I got full before I could order dessert. Our table was in an indoor outdoor space and the cool summer breeze took everything over the top.

Stopped here for dinner and to catch up with some friends on a Sunday night. The place was not too busy and we got a seat immediately. The place is nice with a very chill vibe. We started with some steak tartare and fingerling potatoes. It was pretty good. I had the pan roasted salmon which looked pretty good. My wife got the hunger steak which is what I would recommend as well. It came with fingerling potatoes. Would have been nice if they had a side salad option as well but overall pretty good. My friends got the rigatoni and ricotta ravioli. I liked the rigatoni which was pretty good, tasty and flavorful. We ended with tiramisu which I liked a lot and affogato.

I never really leave a review, but the last few times I’ve been to Tavolata I’ve just had the best service! This time around we had Jessie and she was just darling. Of course, the food is always amazing and the drinks are great as well – cheers!

Glad we made the trip to this side of town. A little of an uphill walk from the downtown side but worth it to pre-burn the carbs. Enjoyed the meal, we had Pappardelle and Potato Gnocchi.

Our server Jessie was great, friendly and informative. We had the rigatoni spaghetti and the focaccia bread. The Focaccia with great spread was incredible. I’d highly recommended this for fun and excellent Italian food in great area of Seattle.

Friends in Seattle took us here based on the good reviews. Disappointing describes our visit. First, they lost the booking although the server who met us remembered our friends call and said there was a system issue with reservations from calls. As a result an unexpected wait for a table. Food quality was okay, nothing to rave about it was just basic Italian, but the service was good. Having a 4% surcharge for the restaurant (not staff) is just not a good look.

The food is wonderful, perfectly balanced with simple ingredients and consistent delicious and complex flavors that make each dish unique but equally palette pleasing.
