Best tacos and tortas in the area. Fresh made and good flavor. Trompo tacos are great. Good customer service. As a taco lover I recommend. Fast service. Just dont eat the grilled serrano pepper cause it will light you up!!!

Ordered the mi special – 3 tacos with your choice of meat, plus rice & beans. I got pastor tacos for all 3, great flavor on the pastor not overly salty, the tacos are quite small but very filling since they add quite a bit of meat. I also got a gordita with beef fajita meat, the gordita was a bit tough, it comes filled with lettuce, beans and sour cream. The fajita meat was just as good as the pastor, very well marinated. My husband got the torta(comes w fries) with beef fajita and a lengua taco, he loved both and said that the flavor does come through on the meats. We also got the piña and melon aguas, we weren’t too fond of those just bc they taste syrup-y vs made with fresh fruit juices. Our total order came out to about 45$, it’s quite expensive but convenient since it’s right off the highway and they do prepare your order quickly if you’re in a hurry.

Trompo is great here! Every meat here has been fantastic with great portions of onions cilantro etc. Great salsa! Did Take out recently and food was fantastic and still hot when I got home. This is a tiny place and they are having issues with ac is only reason atmosphere is a 4. Also the rice and bean portions are huge when ordering on the side! Large rice was a whole to go box full of rice!

This little hidden gem in Royse City is one of the best low key Mexican restaurants in that area! The food is great. I never been disappointed. The price to portion size is good. The service is good. The place is always jumpin!

It is so good that I suggest you phone them before you go, it gets crowded. I had to wait for my food a while. Other than that, my food was delicious. Thank you guys, keep up the good work.

I asked for a beef fajita burrito and a bean and cheese burrito. The beef fajita was shredded and dark and had big chunks of potato??? I had to take the other burrito back because they added rice and other stuff that I didn’t ask for. I probably was better off with the first one that I took back because the cheese was sour! Really nasty! I waited over 30 minutes for the first wrong order and another 10 minutes for them to remake the burrito they got wrong.

This is one of our favorite places for Mexican food. We love the tacos and tortas. The only thing is that it is a small place so we always order to go and enjoy it at home.

Wife order via DoorDash (12/16/2021) which exceeded expectations. The torta was the best we’ve found thus far in our years in Texas – only minor gripe was a bit heavy on the bread. Quality meats cooked well, quality spices/seasoning, and bursting with flavor. I stress again, by far the best torta we’ve had in years (worthy of a try for that alone). I had the Trompo and wife had/loved the Lengua. The burrito was also very flavorful – just a tad too much oil. Overall recommended, and we will absolutely revisit in the future.
