We are open Wed.-Sat. evenings with our full menu, as well as a limited lunch menu on Thurs. and Fri. that changes each day. We stopped here while passing through and loved it. The service was excellent, like what it used to be. We had such a great experience- the fried shrimp was delicious and the chicken strips were as well. The Carmel cake came highly recommended in the reviews and I thought it was fine. The baked beans were sweet to start and had a chili taste towards the end, the cole slaw was a delight, and the twice baked potato was indeed delicious. Overall the the experience was top notch- and the highlight was definitely the amazing waitress.

The hospitality was awesome. The staff as well as the customers were very friendly. A couple was also seated next to us that lived in our county 100 miles away from this restaurant, very coincidental. They were very friendly and enjoyed talking to us. During convo, we said we were celebrating our anniversary. Our waitress overheard the conversation and gave us a free slice of their famous caramel cake for us to enjoy! I forgot our waitress’ name, but that was very sweet of her. The caramel cake was very good. So was our dinner. This place is a true hole in the wall, but the food is the best quality as well as the flavor. Best steak I have ever had, imo. Everything we had last night did not disappoint.

My wife and I have enjoyed fantastic steaks all over the world, but still nothing beats this place for a flavorful ribeye. My steaks were always cooked to perfection, including my most recent trip today, and the flavor is always off the charts. Anytime that I am remotely in the area, typically within a couple hours trip, I always make a pilgrimage here.
