We had the best night ever. The Lovely Lavendar Ladies came to dinner. Shannon was our server and was excellent. The chicken piccata was out of this world! We will be back! Thank you!

Fantastic Italian spot. Expensive but worth it. Highly rated for a reason. Just remember to reserve a table.

Food was very good and atmosphere was nice and relaxed. Our waiter was excellent and provided great service! We ordered truffle fries and the Luca pizza during happy hour both of which were delicious. I would recommend this place to any visiting or living in Chico.

Wow is all I can say. I’ve eaten at a lot of restaurants and the Lasagna special was the best I’ve ever had. Who thinks to put thin sliced beef in there??? Good service, great apps, excellent ceaser salad. Nothing to compare this to. Can’t wait to go back.

It’s been a while since I’ve last eaten at Crush and my husband and I were looking forward to a rare date night. What a miserable experience. First it was extremely hot in the restaurant. Our server was complaining about the heat but said she really felt bad for the kitchen staff (I agree!). If your air conditioning can’t cool your restaurant, CLOSE! The bar was unable to make the first cocktail I ordered (a vesper martini, not hard. I make them at home) so I ordered another of my favorites (a lemon forward drink) but it was waaay too sweet (even with the addition of a slice of lemon), not at all refreshing like in other bars. My wine with dinner was cold an delicious. My husband didn’t care for his cocktail so ordered red wine with his meal. His first choice was unavailable so he selected another. It was actually very nice. The wines were the only positive thing about our meal. The carpaccio was lacking any seasoning or flavor but the frito misto was too highly seasoned (this is coming from a salt lover). The green, herbal dip and marinara with the frito misto were delicious. The Caesar salad was inedible, I took a few bites and gave up. The dressing was heavy and had too much anchovy, not enough lemon (or other acid) and had a strange aftertaste. Maybe the basil or sun-dried tomato ?? In a Caesar?? The lettuce was fresh and crispy. The presentation of the salad was beautiful. Our main course was the roasted chicken ravioli in a lemon cream sauce (again I took only a few bites). The sauce was nauseatingly heavy and lacking a lemon flavor. If you’re advertising a lemon cream sauce, perhaps add lemon? My husband has always been a fan of the Crush bolognese but tonight it was a complete miss. He packed it to go but I’m not sure he’s going to eat the remaining food. It was so miserably hot we passed on dessert and went to a local ice cream shop. That was the highlight of our evening. I don’t know what is wrong with Crush tonight but hopefully it was a rare occurrence. I won’t be back to find out. My date nights are important and this one was a disappointment.

I’ve only been here once and, but it was so disappointing and overpriced I don’t expect to go back. I had the Eggplant Parmesan and it was one of the blandest I’ve ever had. The amount of eggplant was also far too much compared to the middling amount of the other ingredients, and it was mushy as poorly prepared eggplant tends to be. There was a very minimal attempt at cooking it correctly to add crispness and texture, yielding a few bites at one corner that was almost enjoyable. And it was a $26 entree. My father had the roast chicken ravioli, which was slightly better but still underwhelming, low in quantity, and the sauce, which was the main point of interest in the dish, was thin and there was not nearly enough for all the ravioli.

I’m not a big fan of this place. The food isn’t bad, but it’s not great either. The service varies: sometimes they are very busy and other times I’ve had a good server. The atmosphere is a concrete loft with little separation between the bar and dining area. As such it can be very noisy and hard to have a conversation with your date.

I picked this place because of the atmosphere I saw in a picture. It did disappoint. Located upstairs in an old warehouse. Inside soft lighting comfortable seats. Not to mention the delicious food. The flavors were explosive. Great place for a night out.

Crush Gin & Tonic for the win! Also the Bronx pizza, Ricotta Gnocchi, French Fries, and Artichoke are all stellar.

Chicken Piccata was very good. They set a nice table for my birthday with “happy birthday” written in balsamic vinegar in the plate of olive oil for the bread. Tried the meatballs, ravioli, and dessert all were great. Will definitely be back.
