I paid $30 for burnt food. I don’t know how it can be burnt and cold. Asked for gravey on my pork chop and I guess a sample is all you get. Is it worth the money NO but when you are in a small town claiming to be a city this is all you get. When I find a better option I’ll let you guys know.

This was the best lunch spot. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The food was fantastic! I got the vegetable plate and I can’t pick a favorite, but I have to say that the fried green tomatoes were outstanding! The best I have had in a while. Then I had to top it off with dessert, homemade lemon icebox pie.

We had a wonderful lunch at Jean’s today! I have been wanting to eat here for awhile and am so glad we made a point to stop in on our vacation. The fried pork chop was perfect, tasty greens, and very good fried green tomatoes. The chocolate pie was right up there with my mamas. The restaurant is beautiful and our waitress was excellent. We will be back for sure!

Had a fantastic lunch: meatloaf with Mac and cheese and braised cabbage; fried pork chop with sweet potato soufflé and summer squash. Ice Box lemon pie for dessert. Everything was perfect (and the Mac and cheese was maybe better than perfect).
