If I could give more stars I would. Service, food, drinks, EVERYTHING is on point! I am never disappointed & keep coming back time after time. Some of the biggest & BEST tacos around! Truly delicious meals. And if you get the chance to try the soft shell crab taco… It’s to die for. Enchiladas are big and easy to share. Great friendly service. And amazing drinks. My fav is the churro dessert. Best Mexican food I’ve found in Reno so far.

I’ve been wanting to try Mexcal for a while. We arrived at lunchtime on a holiday. It was busy with one employee at the front of the house seating guests, taking orders, and making drinks. The inside is beautiful with TVs on each wall playing sports. The food was incredible. We had cocktails, chips with salsa and guac, a quesabirria taco, as well as 4 “avenue” tacos: short rib, carne asada, mahi mahi, and my favorite, cauliflower apple. Yum! We’ll definitely be back.

Amazing how I drive past this place every single day to get coffee and then finally one of my coffee but he’s told me to check it out so I did. The photos do not do it justice there was so much food that I not only had two get it to go container… I gave some homeless guy one of my tacos. Important note the chips and salsa are not free but they are worth the money because you get three different sauces that are absolutely delicious and everything is homemade the shells of my tacos were home-made everything is homemade.

For all the hype, sadly I was not that impressed. Food was okay. Not street tacos so bigger size but for $5-8 a taco wasn’t that elevated of ingredients. Chips and salsa even $6, good drink selection for tequila and mezcal but still just missing the mark for me and didn’t stand out.
