This place is absolutely DELICIOUS!! We had the Chef burger, blackened chicken sandwich, Fish tacos, Nate dog, fish sandwich, and shrimp nachos (not pictured) and everything was so good & well served! They made our birthday girl feel extra special! Our kids devoured everything! We recommend Mahi Nic and will definitely be returning!

Found out about this place from the show The Texas Bucket List. Nic & his wife are the sweetest people. The food was delicious. The fries are huge. They also give you a pitcher of ice cold water to make sure you’re cool. All of the staff is very friendly and always checking up on you to see if you need more ice cold water, or anything else. Definitely recommend this place.

great food. the giant handset fries are really big, delicious . I had the Mahi tacos. They were also very tasty. lightly blackened Mahi with fresh corn tortillas. Cole slaw was perfect. great fast service. It’s a small restaurant with tables outside in deck. by dolphin watch boats .

Came in on a busy Sunday early afternoon but was able to order food and eat within half an hour. All shaded, outdoor seating overseeing the marina. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Establishment is dog friendly, they’ll happily provide your pup with a water bowl and cookie treat.

What a gem on South Padre Island! I love the mom & pop/island feel of this place. It’s all outdoor seating but they have fans which helped combat the heat! We had mahi tacos and the mahi sandwich which were both excellent and full of flavor. Quality of ingredients is top notch. Wait staff is very attentive and friendly. There’s a reason it’s always busy! Go early and skip the rush. We will be coming back!

This place was AMAZING. No exaggeration at all. I had the Mahi Mahi sandwich & my husband had the Mahi Mahi tacos, vegetables were so fresh, fish was cooked perfectly & not fishy at all, the fries were some of the best I’ve had & the COLESLAW man it’s so bomb. I live in west Texas and I will come back to the island just to eat here again. The staff was so friendly and quick, I think we’re actually coming back later for dinner! A must try place to be!

This is a great dine outside restaurant never new abt it until we saw “Bucket list” T.V show boy was this a great choice, lived here locally passed by so many times but finally stopped and had a bite. No regrets was super delish and can’t wait to try other dishes. Give it a try but have patients because lots of people do go just sit relax enjoy the view the wait is worth while. It’s a bit pricey but it is well served portions.

A must-try if you’re visiting South Padre Island (SPI)! We got the Mahi and Shrimp Tacos. Both were good but would highly recommend getting the Mahi option. You know its good when its in the restaurant’s name! The Pina Colada Lemonade frozen drink was unexpectedly good. And the fries were also surprisingly huge!

After hearing so many great things about this place I finally got to try it! I like where it’s located, the staff were friendly, the food was good! I think the prices are a little steep compared to other similar places on the island but I would go back. We got the mahi tacos and a burger, both of which were yummy and honestly the fries were so good!
