This is a no-frills local place serving local classics. The fry-bread was excellent. Seems to be quite popular with the locals. If you’re from a long ways away and have little experience with Navajo/Diné food (such as myself) be conservative with your menu selections as I got a bit more than I bargained for… Great experience overall. My one complaint is that their soda fountain was having icemaking issues so we ended up overpaying for generic canned sodas.

Lunch was delicious . I ordered steamed corn with mutton and frybread. I wanted so much more buy decided on one dish. Next time, I would like to try dumpling stew with mutton. I was happy to see blue corn mush in the menu. They were quick and fast. It is a must try for sure if you are in the four corners area.

Great food, and the cashier was so friendly. We spent the weekend in Aztec to visit the ruins, a little road trip from southwest AZ, and purposely stayed a little later at the hotel so we could get a traditional frybread meal before heading home. So glad we did!

I had the mutton wrapped in a tortilla and man was it good; even the bread had a delicious smoky flavor. My first time trying Diné food and I’ve been thinking about it ever since

We hated this place, go anywhere else! The food was overpriced for what we were served. The steam corn had 20 or so kernels and large parts of the grilled lamb was like chewing on leather. When we were asked how everything was, we honestly answered saying there wasn’t enough corn in the stew and it was too hard but we are just eating it. The waitress was apologetic but then a visibly mad woman stomped over from the back of the restaurant to our table, said she’d take off the stew from the tab, told my spouse to put the meat down that was about to be taken a bite of, and rudely yanked the entire dish away in an angry manner without even asking for clarification or asking if we wanted anything else. We have never been so surprised, appalled, or disgusted with a restaurant here in Farmington; who knew giving an honest answer would have a rigid response? Next time, we’ll just go to Chambers Steakhouse; they serve Navajo cuisine too people 🙂 They are friendly, don’t overcharge, and are open outside this distasteful place’s hours of operation. Never again.

Came with my grandparents and they loved the food. They got “grandma’s favorite “ and the “chubby boy”. Both were delicious and the bread was good. I had the pork chop boy with fry bread and fries. Fries are meh, stay with the fried potatoes, those were delicious.

Spectacular food, huge portions, good value for money, friendly people, good chance to experience native cuisine. This should be everyone’s first stop on a visit to Farmington.
