I had the chicken gyro with fries and baklava. It was beyond delicious! I usually get lamb but I decided to try something new and I’m glad I did. Moist and flavorful! The fries were crispy and seasoned to perfection. And I can attest to the fact that they deliver well. No more soggy fries! Try them with the white sauce. It’s so good! The baklava was layered to perfection and tasted just as good as it looked! And it wasn’t dry! As if I haven’t said enough … they have a bidet in the restroom!!!

Everyone who works here seems to love their job. Food is great; combo platter is enormous and delicious. Just like halal trucks in NYC and other big cities. Also, the pizza is as close to NYC style as you’ll get in Upstate. Owner is very friendly and generous.

The guy who handed me my food was absolutely awesome. Very cool and welcoming. The whole place smelled amazing. The gyro I got was so big its gonna take two sessions. Service was quick as hell boyyyy. My new favorite pre-show meal for westcott shows.

I chose to try Halal Gyro based on great Google reviews, so I figure I better keep the positive vibes going. I got the chicken / lamb combo gyro with white sauce and hot sauce — AMAZING. So flavorful, tender, soft pita, and massive. Another reviewer said “generous” — that’s an understatement. No human should eat that much in one sitting, so be prepared for either a coma or leftovers. I could barely touch my giant box of fries.

Love this place. They are consistently on point with food and customer service. Definitely the best halal food I have ever had in this area. The protiens have a great balance of warming spices, falafel is always crispy and spot on and the sauces are amazing. Food is always quick hot and delicious. Owners and staff are people I am happy to support. I will continue to frequent Syracuse Halal Gyro.

Sooo we were cashing out and fumbling for what was only $12 and the staff said don’t worry about it. it was the most amazing gyro that I’ve ever had I went with the chicken ❤️ well done. And you definitely didn’t have to give it to us free of charge but you did just so we could be happy and have an amazing meal don’t even think that we won’t pay it forward thank you so much ❤️
